Lionel Messi - v7

That's because they are shit. Klaasen struggles at Werder now and Sigurdson is a classic big-fish-small-pond kind of a player. Depay will not cut it for us too. Koeman should stop with his Dutch fantasies.

Yeah, that's why I said it. Koeman does God's work in clearing up the shit but he doesn't really have a stellar history in buying players. Could be good, could be absolute duds.

a timeline of the latest month:
- liga finishes, messi haters already lighting up the torches - he's not that good, he's finished, his numbers in the league are good, but not like in his prime, he's lazy etc
- bayern game happens - he's not the best player in the world anymore, muller is better than him, he's lazy, he kept the amigos in the first 11, he wouldn't get into city/psg/bayern, he kept valverde in the job, he is the main culprit for the CL eliminations etc
- koeman gets appointed - he kicks out the amigos and messi too if he won't go along, bartomeu is cleaning house, should tell messi if he doesn't run more than 7 km he is done, he should leave anyway as change will not happen with him in the team etc
- messi wants to leave - it's a powerplay to keep suarez in the squad, he's saving the amigos, he is a rat, he is ruining the club, ronaldinho/xavi/iniesta left like true legends etc
- messi is going to city - they are crazy to sign him, where would he fit, city are running unlike messi, pep lost his marbles, we should get 200M for him etc

so double standards and backpedaling at it's finest, basically

Where is the double standards? The narrative is the same, the team comes first.

Barto gonna get the 100m for Messi and go straight to Milano to pay Lautaro's 111m release clause :bartomeu:

Said Bayern would not want him and they aren't in for him. They have just won the CL, are run properly and do not need to destroy their wage structure for Messi.

no shit sherlock. it's the same as saying inter aren't in for him, or arsenal aren't in for him. your fawning over how bayern are a great run club is irrelevant in this situation as there are many other things to take into consideration before even discussing about bayern.

Lautaro will probably become a Tevez level player... after we buy him for 111m and he fails to score 15 goals in 2 years for us, after which we sell him back to Seria A for peanuts where he fulfills his potential

Braida doing work. :braida:

Tbf to Braida he's the one who convinced Riqui to stay as Puig's father himself credited. Barca were all set on selling him or at the very least loaning him out with an option to buy for sure.

If Barca receives a big fee for Messi they should spend as little of it as possible. Letting Koeman sign his Dutch obsessions or Barto go on a rampage again is only going to make it worse for the club.

It's not the same as both Inter and Arsenal would absolutely love him there. Bayern simply do not need him. And I'm not "fawning over" them, I dislike the club a lot, but no one can deny that they know how to run the club. Their whole starting 11 against PSG cost less than 100m. Take your meds man, you're becoming more and more aggressive lately

that's a given the team comes first. or would you say he didn't act in the interest of the team all these years?

It is simple. We make decisions not because we are pro Messi nor because we are anti Messi. We assess each situation as it arises and say what is the best thing to do for the clubs well being?

If Messi is unwilling to track back, unwilling to stick to formation and manager instructions and is 33 years old then ofcourse we should be open to the idea of selling him if that is something he is open to

If Messi wants to leave anyways, then ofcourse we aim to get financial gains from this opportunity so that we can use the money to strengthen the squad. He is our player and under the clubs contract

His father said there were a lot of lies told about likes of Segura who he credited with trusting Puig.

That would be the sensible thing to do so it's definitely not happening. You just know the type of person bartomeu is, he will try to make a statement signing and get it horribly wrong once again.
