Messi was by far and away best player within a very good sauad in last 5 years. This year squad is not good, nor was it last year but as many Real fans can admit,Messi was a cheat code for so many matches it beggars belief. We may have forgotten about it, but he was probably 70% of our attacking contribution in last 5 years. That is insane stat by itself.

Barca needs to deal with the fact that Messi is old and has 9 month on his contract. If he stays against his will, its will ruin entire Barca Messi spell because we are NOT winning with him, and he is in twilight of his career. So we are basically telling him either we will get optimistic fee (which we wont) or you will be left here (or in court) even if it means benching (and then going for free in 9 months time.

Bad situation for all of us but something like 40M + 50M clauses (CL/PL) + Garcia would be very good offer IMO.

Taking a step back from all the shit-slinging of the situation. How massive will this move be for the Premier League? Imagine just how much marketing exposure this will bring to both the league and Man City in particular. I wonder if City can even nego an increase % of their cut of the shirt sales with Puma who have no player in this stratosphere. Huge huge loss for us and Nike.

By contrast LaLiga is going to suffer with no star players in Madrid and Barcelona as Hazard and Griezmann have been flops so far. Our star marketing player could very well be Ansu.

LL+Copa is a successful season for any European club except Bayern or PSG. If we maintained our form in the first half of that 15/16 throughout the season, we would've fuked that AM side in the CL.

Well, Griezmann is not an amigo. Didn't you guys see Messi and Suarez repeatedly ignoring him so they could set each other up? They even had a football talk show in my country on this topic in which the guests made fun of this situation.

Messi and Suarez probably didn't like him from the start because instead of getting their amigo Neymar back, Bartomeu gave them Griezmann instead .
