Nope. He still thinks Suarez should stay. He doesn't see his own flaws. He doesn't think there's anything wrong with themselves. It's only the management. It's players fault too. they are just as responsible as the management.
Messi is thinking "imagine if we signed the right players with Neumar money".. that wouldn't help shit. Any player who signs with Barca looks bad. Why? It's not by accident! Because they don't work in practice at high level. The whole Barcelona is a screw job, from top to bottom.
Messi as a captain should demand more from practice if it was too easy. It's his role as a captain.
He probably does think Suarez should stay and doesn't deserve the treatment in regards to his dismissal. I've criticised Suarez for years and would love for him to leave but if he's been told he's surplus to requirements over a phone call that is inexcusable.
How do we know Messi doesn't see his own flaws? That's a total assumption. Here's some evidence to suggest he does see his and the players faults. After Anfield loss: "After [Liverpool] scored the second goal, we didn't compete. You can make mistakes in any game, but what we cannot have is a situation where we didn't compete. No one should beat us for attitude". "We, as the players, are to blame."
This entire forum has been saying we should have invested the Neymar money more wisely, how can you say that is not true?
2017/2018 season we win a domestic double, 2018/2019 we win the league, get to ucl semi final and final of copa. How are players supposed to believe they've been playing terribly/should try more when they're still winning things? You're thinking about it with the expectation that we should win the ucl 1 in 3 years with a treble 1 in 5 years.
Messi is definitely not a captain type of player and he shouldn't have been made it.
