Man, try to be less obvious about your allegiance. ^^

You keep posting City report stuff. You could totally find the same thing on Bar?a fanpage.

No need to masquerade as a Bar?a fan hehe.

Demb?l? didn't have a case, yet he went AWOL.

If Messi was so sure about his case, he would have been in Manchester already, taken pictures with their shirt and all.

The very reason he is not talking right now is because he knows everything is not solved now.

As you just stated, he can't leave for Manchester because it's not all sorted yet. Besides, he probably wants to end on good terms and say goodbye properly.

Messi missing these COVID sends out of a big statement. He wouldn't have done that without the advisement from his lawyers. He must have a case about his contract.... despite what La Liga said.

Exactly, we have been hearing the same shit for 15 years.

The last 15 years we had Messi with other stars comes & go !!!

Now what's the biggest star in la ligua bar Messi ? cause for Puma & Nike that's ALL IT MATTERS, someone like Messi with 165 millions instagram followers is ALL that matters for sponsors.

Barcelona is run by socios but La ligua Sponsors are run by pure business men. no fanatisme just pure $$$

If he could leave for free now he would be gone but lap up the stories about him not doing it due to fans if you like.
Saw very few of these, but "amigos" theory from local tabloids is very popular just about everywhere. Add to that the fact that Barto literally gone on tape and said Messi will be free to go for season 2020/21 because he is such a legend and now he is backtracking, no doubt rat is behind most of these negative stories about Messi. It's obvious - don't sell, keep him even if on bench, turn every fan against him, don't get killed.
Think that is rats plan.

We've heard all this before. La Liga is finished blah blah blah.

Ronaldo and Messi were going to leave/retire sooner rather than later.

This season Sevilla won the Europa League and Premier League teams were shit in Europe as usual.

PL is bound to dominate due to their financial advantage. Only a few clubs can and will compete with them. Real and Bar?a being the main ones.

Because I'm not a moron and try & don't give a fuck about City why would i hide a tweet reporting A.martinez ?

Everyone from ManCity is doing the same now & following every catalan twitter account or media !!!

Are you 10 years old to talk like that ?

Imo, it doesn't reflect the strength of his case but his determination to leave.

Either you are free to leave or you are not. The fact he wants to negociate clearly means he is not free to leave.

La liga as a whole is going to struggle compared to past with or without Messi which is inevitable soon.

The quality is as low as have seen it across the board and the lack of pace/power is dating it a bit.

Barca/Real are not going to have the huge pull as in past and EPL will be very attractive destination with cash across league to back it up.

Next years going to be difficult for la liga teams and can see star played preferring EPL more and more.

It goes in cycles. Serie A had a golden age in the 80s and especially the 90s into the early 2000s. A 20 year peak and then it came crashing to a halt.

La Liga's golden age was the 2000s to 2020. Real Madrid with 5 European Cups and Barcelona 4. Atletico and Valencia reaching 2 CL finals each and Villareal and Deportivo a semi final (most of these clubs have had a sharp decline on and off the pitch). Sevilla with 6 Europa League's and Atletico 3 and Valencia 1. The Real Madrid Galactico side of early 2000s, 3 CL titles in a row. Barca with arguably the greatest club side ever under Guardiola and at least one of them. Messi and Ronaldo. Ronaldinho and Zidane.

Messi's departure will confirm the end of that, although in reality Barca's decline has been years in the making and the champions Real Madrid have been schooled in the last 16 by Ajax and Man City in their own ground in the last two seasons.

Further to the Serie A comparison is the decline of AC Milan which Barca are determined to repeat. While Barca and Real will regroup and be better again eventually, the rest of the league is really struggling apart from Simeone still going at Atletico and Sevilla's Europa League love affair. The fact neither could get near a mediocre Real and a poor Barca all season speaks volumes though.

He didn't win anything with Argentina except Olympic games.
City was 30 points behind Liverpool and are on a decline.
Pep's teams are always falling apart after 3-4 season, both physically, mentally and they start to overthink and play under some sort of pressure (due to Pep's ideas and demanding too much).
.
God I'm lazy to bring this post up 1-2 years later. whatever, you always claim ridiculous statements.

Are you from a french speaking country ? The way you write some words tend to indicate this is the case.

Why are people STILL equating 'friendly exit' = Messi wants Barca to be compensated with a fee

From the reports about the lawyer situation, its more likely Messi's idea of a friendly exit is him leaving on a free but on good terms, a nice friendly goodbye and thank you

I agree with you but more on the Finance and marketing side. The Prem on a whole has alot more money compared to la liga and also way more marquee players. This has been the case for sometime now, but it hasn't necessarily translated to success on the field.

Sevilla proved again that it can win the Europa easily with a very modest budget. The Prem teams continue to spend alot of money but they haven't dominated Europe as many thought they would. I think Spanish teams will continue to be relevant in years to come.
