Lionel "The Greatest of All Time" Messi V2

Sure Gomez scored a sitter but right before he headed the ball directly to NYC with no Miami player around and led their break missing a sitter vintage ferret style. Messi can't be happy with that.

Like Malvolio said, waking up after a Miami game has been the same for weeks. You open up Instagram and you see another post of Messi celebtrating both the win and when he's scoring. Inredible.

He seems fatigued though. Checked their schedule and they play two games a week almost exclusively. Also two Argentina games coming up with that dreaded away game to Bolivia.

Think Messi's going to pack it in for Miami in a couple games and focus on the 5 WC QF games he has from here to end of the year.

He's having more fun than he's had in five-ish years of club play and he doesn't waste energy. It was over 100 deg in Cincinnati so more sweat lodge than fatigue there, he'll be fine. Miami can continue to win games with him playing for only 30 min, and probably without him.

Hamster was crap except for the brilliant pre-pre-assist which no Barca player today would even attempt, actually can't remember a more daring contorted pass by him since I started watching Barca in 2015.

Miami's really easing the distress of watching xavishitball. If they bring the young amigo in from Galaxy I'll be as excited as I used to be when Ney and Iniesta were still with us.

The amount of hype his MLS stint is getting here is hilarious.

Pretty cute how you lads are pretending that the MLS is even average at it's best.

Saw some of the goals and highlights on social media and dude, the defending is amateur level. Almost as bad as that Neymar against FC Mumbai clip. Messi can dominate this league in his sleep. Also, saw Messi committing many yellow card fouls and he got nothing. Referees protecting him like a baby. They aren't even subtle about it.

Messi won the GOAT debate it is over what he is doing in MLS doesnt add to it anyway.. it doesnt need to.

But still top stuff to see the level he is still at even taking into account the standard of league.

Simple really and nice to see the United States falling in love with the wee man also.

Fantastic decision by him to go there and going swimmingly.

True, he is just doing side quests right now. I don't think most people are praising him for doing it in the MLS, but we're just happy to see him play football and enjoy it.

We won't get to see another player like him so we should cherish every moment, since he is close to retirement.

Level is atrocious yeah, but that also applies to Miami side. In fact, Inter Miami is one of the weaker sides.

I could understand the critcism better if he were playing with a stacked team against average Saudi opposition.

if the MLS decides to go hard full like the Saudi league and build on the Messi's hype it can literally make the launch MLS was always chasing
