With Ronaldo's off-the-ball movement and Messi's passing he'd have set him up loads.

But I think with them both in the same team it would have been another case of having two players who don't get back enough and upset the balance. It sounds great on paper but in practice these things don't often work as well eg Mbappe, Messi, Neymar.

Tru it wouldnt be easy but in your example Ney and Leo were old, in 2012 Messi was 24/25, Cristiano 26/27 - so they would have been able to do a bit defence work

Would be even easier when they buy a workhorse player in midfield

In offense you dont have to worry as 3-4 scorer points per game are safe with these lads 💯
