God damn boys, keep it classy. We could create an insults thread though, just to not get sidetracked in this one and talk about Messi and stuff..
Messigician forgot his pills today or is trying to push OG to the edge. OG has being calm and composed though, seems the vacation dis him good.
Cheers guys, continue..

Coming from Rafa being a Real Madrid supporter, this feels special.

Tweets from former Real Madrid players have been "Greatest final. Congrats, Argentina" in general with no mention of Messi.

He is a Madridista but always had nice things to say about Barca and our players. Probably because his uncle played for us.

Argentina have the greatest collective spirit/unity among the NTs though. And Messi and Scaloni have both been exceptional leaders to make this happen.

I mean when you compare the talent of the Argentina and France squads, it really wasn't a contest. But Argentina had double the shots overall and double the shots on goal than France. And much more mental strength in the pens.

Talent wise you'd take Enzo over any of the French midfielders. The front 3 also. Obviously mbappe over either di Maria or alvarez

Wish Nadal was more outspoken about his Messi appreciation when it mattered. Not when GOAT won the debate. Zidane vibes with the political correctness.

Remember a dumb interview where he was asked about Ronaldo vs Messi. "For Madrid Ronaldo is the best. For Barcelona fans it is Messi. it depends on what colors you wear."
Another "friend of Ronaldo" reply.

He wasn't interviewed by Real Madrid TV by any chance lol? Because Magnus Carlsen said that Real Madrid told him that he absolutely had to say Ronaldo was better and the best even if he himself believed Messi was the GOAT.

Don't know if he were. But he was asked if he agreed with his uncle who told him that Messi is the best. He said I don't agree with that statement. Hard to believe Madrid TV forced him into discrediting his uncle if he secretly agreed. Maybe he truly was in denial at the time He is Madridista after all.

Now all of a sudden he has become very outspoken. He also said Mbappe should come to Madrid that he could only build a legacy like Messi or Ronaldo if he left France. Ironically Nadal built a huge portion of his legacy at Roland Garros LOL.

Overall I like Nadal though. Just getting two-face vibes as with Zidane and Ramos. Only making bold statements when they think they are in the clear to make them.
