Apart from Messi's goal, MNM were woeful in both CL matches though. With less luck against City, they would be in jeopardy of a group stage exit. I can forgive them chilling in Ligue 1 only if they actually give everything in CL.

MSN took half a season to gel. Where we lost to PSG away (don't think Suarez played this game though) and lost to RM 1-3 with MSN playing. Then, they clicked and we won 13 of 14 games against RM x 2, Bayern, AM x 5, PSG x 2, City x 2, and Juve.

And MNM is kind of weaker than even 2016-17 MSN so I don't know what you expect, dawg. Messi 15 >>>>>>>>> Messi 21, Neymar 15 >>>>>>>>>>>> Neymar 21, and Suarez > Mbappe.

They'll never click.
Messi is like 45, Neymar 38 or something.

They'll offer a shiny moment/match here and there, but they'll never consistently perform.
It's almost 2022.

I think it's a coaching problem personally.

Mbappe
Neymar Messi
Di Maria Verrati Wijnaldum Hakimi
Kimpembe Ramos Marquinhos
Donnaruma

This team. Is fighting for a treble

Tbf they need some luck with the CL draw and to click in 2-3 games.

You're acting like their competition is RM early-mid 00s, or prime Barcelona or Heynckes Bayern.

Relax. There are no super teams in football right now.

True at the beginning not even MSN has worked, i remember when people said those three together will never work. Then the atletico match happened and from M S N it turned to MSN.

Judging by the highlights he seemed to have gained more form. Created 3 tap in assists, which were missed and had another crossbar. Luck will come in time.

Dont worry, Poch will be fired in January, and then mastermind Pirlo will take over and the decade of dominance for PSG starts.

Poch is good, MNM are just playing like bums. I'm sure you want Pirlo at PSG though so Barca doesn't get him

Poch is a good manager, but he's a defensive manager at heart, so he'll have issues with teams who are basically built on the back of star players getting a lot of freedom to do their thing. Pochettino is basically the polar opposite of that approach, his teams have hard-working, disciplined players who are often asked to sacrifice themselves for the good of the team. So, how exactly is he gonna achieve that when he has not one, but 3 loose cannons up front who are used to walk all the time and provide lax defending and undisciplined positioning?

He's basically in the situation of EV, with a better team, true, but still a flawed one. He's gonna need a lot of luck to make it work.
