Don't worry, you haven't missed anything special. The guy isn't good at defending, nor link up play or attacking. I wonder what Poch sees in this guy. It's not a coincidence that the moment he took the guy off the pitch for Wijnaldum, PSG levelled the score.

I looked him up, and he is 30 already, never heard of him, though he has played for Portgual for 50 odd matches, so i guess he is okay?

Still, PSG with their wealth should have a better starter, or back-up for that matter.

RM looked shit in group stages in 16/17 and even bits of 17/18.

You need to take your own advice and just relax until Feb-March. If Messi and PSG have a meltdown in R of 16, then the mudslinging is justified.

Those Madrid squads had just won the CL months earlier. They also at least had a few good performances in the first months of the season which suggested they still had the ability to be a great team in them.

I haven’t seen one great performance from PSG as a team or from Messi individually this year. There might be some great teams that have poor starts and turn it around but there are any more teams that have bad starts because they are just bad teams. Everything PSG has shown of late suggests they are in the latter camp.

Time for Messi to start trying a little harder, not just "mailing it in". He tries much harder in ARG NT, so can still do it if he wants to.
I have a feeling he is afraid of injury ahead of CL knockout games, and in particular aheadv of WC.
However, as a professional he should at least perform at the "decent minimum" level.

Watching this game reminded me of many Valverde barca games. Not much of a plan. Hope Messi, Di Maria or Mbappe do something to score. Pray they don't concede. Poch out of his depth
