La Liga is currently a top league where the least amount of football is played. Constant timewasting, feigning of injuries, shithousing, but it also means constant disruption of play and a slower pace of the game. Bundesliga is probably the most "watchable" league with their suicidal pressing, and Serie A is unironically the most attacking league right now.

Watching this game reminded me of many Valverde barca games. Not much of a plan. Hope Messi, Di Maria or Mbappe do something to score. Pray they don't concede. Poch out of his depth

Coach must hate this. Only way to win the game. It's pretty awful. Forget about building some beautifully working team.

I've been thinking this a while now. la liga is a terrible watch for neutrals. Even if you're a fan it's painful to watch. La Liga need to rid the league of gamesmanship, time wasting etc or the funding will just keep on decreasing from broadcasters. Embarrassing seeing a physically fit and strong man dive to the floor fake screaming in pain just to win a foul 50 yards away from the goal.

Yup completely agree. It is a painful watch, especially when you watch a PL game just before, the contrast really is striking.

Said it yesterday but even stupendously one-sided leagues like the Bundesliga, serve up much more exciting football in general for the neutral. Yes the defending can leave a lot to be desired but games like Leverkusen 3-4 Dortmund could rarely happen in La Liga's current state because of how stop/start the games are. The game is seldom allowed to flow and a player knows throwing themselves to the floor will get them a foul and play halted.

Messi used to bail us out even during Pep time when the whole tiki taka thing couldn't work and pep just watched the game slip away until Messi did something magic (most of the time against big teams).

But in the recent years it was more than bailing out, it was dragging a dead team into levels we didn't deserve.

We laughed at neymar when he has gone to that league and destroyed it in 17/18. Time to take our L.

That Neymar was insane; 6 dribbles or so a game, about 28 goals 16 assists before February. That was his physical prime. After the first major foot injury his speed and agility took a nose dive. Hasn't been the same since then. By far my favorite version of Neymar.

Suarez: Messi told me he is suffering from playing in the cold, especially in the snow. He has to get used to the cold there in France.

Ma boy is making the French league look like serie A in the 80's & 90's and he isn't doing much better in the CL either.

What a shem.
