LL is a nightmare league to play in. The amount of shithousing and pure minutes of playtime is respectively the highest and lowest across the top leagues. Almost all teams are defensively very organized. Enough with the LL slander

Somewhat true but it is a farmers league in terms of athleticism and intensity like Serie A is too

Nah it is slower with lower quality and less intensity past top few teams and even those top teams are struggling to compete with other top teams currently.

There is barely a decent pacey player past first few teams.

Nah it is great comparison and I agree with you Messi struggles with more physicality and faster paced league.

But do keep up... the one that compared Barca to PSG was not me initially.

you're right about the physicality thing, one more thing which should be noted is that messi declined physically and he's not protected by the referees like he was in la liga, when you add all that up and the fact that he joined a counter-attacking team in the most physical league out of the top 5 without a proper system, it's a whole mess

PSG are not a counter attacking team.

Poch is a possession based coach.

He has by far the best team in a poor technical league. The excuses are wild that folk are using.

This tbf. Would wager he would have done better in the EPL as less physical. Most teams in Ligue 1 are playing like in the EPL 20 years ago in therms of physicality.

This 'nobody knows how to bring the ball forwards' is the same excuse used at Barca when he would literally drop deeper than Busi. We always blamed the midfield but it became very apparent his lack of movement and positional discipline was the bigger problem.

PL teams having more expensive players is mostly just the PL tax for the league's popularity and exposure. Grealish and Maguire going for 80m+, man. PL really has people believe the only decent 450-500 players in Europe play there since they cost more and are in someone's FPL team

That said, EPL is the strongest league for now.

Disagree about LL, plenty of pacy and skillful players.

Agree they have better players as more money but a lot of good players being brought through systems also now.

Name the best pacey/poweful attacking players in bottom half of La Liga now and I will name the ones from EPL where there are players like Raphinha and Richarlison battling relegation.

The difference is huge.

wouldn't say it's a poor technical league either, it's just a shit league with no protection from the referees for their best players, that's why it's hard for messi to stand out as he's physically finished, if he came there a couple of years earlier it would've been a different story

EPL is not less physical at all.

Maybe slightly less nutters flying into tackles but the intensity need to play at week in week out to win in EPL is fucking light years ahead of being at PSG in France.

It is poor technically in comparison to likes of EPL.

What makes it shit then if is most physical?

there are hardly any big clubs in the league and big players, now add the fact that they're not even protecting the best players they have (very few), it's easy to see why psg are not even playing 50% in the league and coasting to the title

So what makes the clubs shit on the field? Not technique and not physicality? Is it tactically?
