Leo Messi will stay at PSG. Messi and Laporta have not had any contact since the player left Barcelona.

Messi's entourage already got door slammed in their face

For some reason Messi still hasn't cottoned onto the fact that he doesn't work hard enough. He just hasn't be able to adapt to the aging process. Ronaldo has adapted his game. Messi needs to improve his fitness and attitude and just be willing to sit on the bench. It would be really interesting to see someone like Zidane as manager. His overall status as player AND Manager gives him an edge over both Messi and Neymar. He wouldn't take their shit and it would be interesting to see how these two would deal with someone like Zidane.

Lol, very true and they'll have to get other quality forwards that can sub them and still contribute for effective management. I think it'll be easier to manage Neymar than Messi and Zidane should be able to do the job

Vamos Romero in the mud

Both Bar?a sources and Leo Messi's entourage deny that Jorge Messi called the club to ask for a return. Bar?a considers it impossible for him to come back. Both parties admit they have definitely parted ways after the initial shock.

If I had that much money I'd be more concerned about doing what I want instead of making more money. What does it matter if he didn't get paid for a season he could've easily stayed here if wanted.

Nobody plays for free. This is just a story for kids who never worked a day in their lives.

If Messi played for free then anyone at the club should have done it. Griezmann, FDJ, Busquets, Depay etc.

Or what is the logic here? Messi should have played for free because of his salary being double what Griezmann was earning, but not the other way around?

This idea is as moronic as Laporta coming out with that line about waiting for Messi to ask to play for free.

I like what you wrote... There ismuch truth in it. But you do have to understand that many players have "returned" to their respective clubs to make one last stand. And Messi should do it and YES he should do it for MINIMUM WAGES... Like and honorary example. Like a statement.

Ffs if he has wven 100m what is one season playing for "pocket" money? Sponsors would compensate the rest to him...

What players have left tens of millions on the table to return to old club for 'one last stand'?

Sponsors dont compensate anything as he would get that sponsorship money regardless.

come back for one last stand?

he couldnt make a difference for us for years and he's only older--not only older but markedly worse. he would add nothing but slower tempo to the team.

stop thinking about messi and start thinking about whats good for the team please

I was talking about the situation in the summer. A return for him after the PSG stint, on low salary? Yeah, could be possible. He wouldn't be able to ask much anyway. But would he want to ride the bench for us for a season? Doubt it. And tbf discussion is pointless, as all the so called rumors of his impeding return are. Never going to happen with Laporta in charge. Bridges were burned.

The beacon of humanity, Cristiano Ronaldo, did. Went to Man Utd and asked for the biggest contract in the league, at 36 years of age. For one last hurrah and to help the club, of course.
