Roura could take over till the end of the season.

Haha. Well, I'd rather have Puyol and Xavi, latter being a playing coach like Giggs was last season. Perfect mix of heart and wits. I hope that's our future somewhere down the line, with Iniesta joining the team some day. :)

At least I can dream. :barca scarf:

This man is so stubborn. He has only been a manager for a few years without any considerable success and he acts like he is the best ever. He doesnt admit the huge mistakes he has done neither his shitty tactics. Im so disappointed with him.

Every time I read his press conference I feel like it was given by Mourhinio. You can't be THIS arrogant without having any background what so ever.
Individual brilliance can bail you out for so long.
El Clasico was great example cause biggest star failed and your backup was Pedro, Sergio Roberto.. Yeah.

This. Enrique out!

What do you people expect Lucho to say? That our last 3 games were absolute shit? That Piqué has been playing poorly? That Douglas is a total waste and, if he's lucky, good enough to play for Barça B? He is protecting his players, he is protecting his ideas, and I like it that he's cocky to the press; he doesn't owe the journalists anything. I remember one thing people hated about Tata was that he's a yes man; and now you criticise Lucho for not being one? As long as he doesn't really believe everything he says, he's fine with me.

And by the way, Mourinho was even more arrogant than now before anyone knew him. I've seen a lot of people somehow linking "being arrogant" in press conferences (if you guys actually knew what arrogant means, you wouldn't say Lucho is, but that is beside the point) to what the particular manager has achieved and frankly, I think the connection is forced, to back up your own argument. And then saying he should get fired because of his press conferences  Some managers just like to reveal a lot while others don't. You guys do know that not every person is the same, right?

I see your point, but honestly I think it would be a better way to protect his ideas by admitting what everyone saw: that we played really poorly and that he got the tactics wrong. This would at least make him seem like he has seen the issues and is working on it, and that the way we played isn't according to his final vision for the team, and that we're on the way to something better. Right now there is no feeling that we're evolving, he almost sounds like he thinks these defeats are just things that happen, and that we've been playing pretty good and that the defeats have come only because of unfortunate circumstances.

Can't say I'm getting filled with trust whenever I hear him speak, it's more the opposite.

I don't think anyone watched the press conference... Making assumptions from reading it is a stretch. He was uncomfortable, impatient and a bit rude. But he wasn't arrogant.

What Mourinho does is being an ass not arrogant. About Lucho, I think some people don't like his tone and style rather than being just "cocky to the press".

Actually yes. Its better then ignoring the fact and giving the players a false idea that they played good enough.
Everyone can see that the players and tactics have been subpar this year, and a couple of years before that. Ignoring it only comes out as beeing arrogant.

Is it time for Lucho to play Messi as a false winger? What I mean by that is have him roam from the wing into the number 10 position and have the freedom to attack the box when we go on the attack. Suarez will do better through the middle and he can play with his back to the goal so he can be out number 9

Said the same thing before. Even if Messi gets the ball a little bit less, once he has it, he creates much more dangerous situations.
He stays more in attack there instead of dropping to midfield like hes done a bit to much this season.
