Barçapocalypse NOW!
The part around the 30th minute when Ajax was absolutely dominating us was so painful to watch... This is the third match in a row with exactly the same obvious mistakes and shortcomings, I wonder how far will his stubbornness take him, because to be honest, his current plan has clear signs of things falling apart before there's chance to save face...

It's kind of hard to stomach getting bossed by the likes of Ajax and Celta...

Yep. If he keep being stubborn then we'll get dominated by many decent teams out there and would rely on individual brilliance to bail us out.

We are relying on individual brilliance right now and have been for the last month... Happened many times this season already, even against lower tier teams like Eibar...

Sorry for the double post, I tried attaching a screenshot from the actual game in the first post but it didn't work so I just made the line-up myself. My bad.

I think that looks like a fantastic way to utilize the players we have and get the best out of them. Pedro in Alves' position could give him a new life in Barca, he is sure many times more precise than Alves, and has better passes, crosses and finishes, and also more speed. I love the ideas you posted!

Now, if only Lucho could see that...

Just rewatched the game. Thank God for Messi!!!

But if Lucho doesn't change his ways( and it looks like he won't) we won't get far into UCL. At this point I have no expectations except to enjoy my favorite team. Here is to hoping Lucho surprises me.

It's so fucking important that he realize how the team looked much better in that second half and build from there.

Please, please don't ever again throw Suarez on that right wing and have him track back for Alves. This is lunacy in its purest form.

#LuchooutNOW!

Saw the game. Just awful. The second half was a slight improvement but Lucho has to go. The board will off course stick with him but NO way we win any trophies this season with Lucho.

Like I said-if he turns it around and we win a trophy I will have a RM avatar for 3 months.

Tactically he is CLUELESS or at best naïve. We need a top manager -we are a top club. Rumours are already floating that the players are unhappy because they don't have any proper instruction.

We have some BIG games coming up in the league and the CL is yet to finish. At best this season I can see 3rd or 4th place. CL-the big clubs will pulverise us. Quarter final is the best projection for CL.

An SOS to Heynkes should be sent. I know it wont happen but everyone can see this is a trainwreck waiting to happen.

We should know by the break where we stand. He played some better tactics in the 2nd half but I just feel like that was a fluke from him and he'll go back to "his ideas" which make absolutely no sense. Can't wait until the game this weekend.

But I agree with someone saying Messi covers his mistake. If he goes back to the same tactics this weekend and we win easily, I'll be very sad because in his mind, that means everything is fine.

If Suarez start again as a right winger, after what the team has shown when he moved into the middle i am going to ask for Lucho out.

Average positions. Xavi didn't babysit Alba, but Rakitic did his thing with Alves. Also Neymar very isolated.

Suarez and messi still not connecting that well. But after some time Ney, messi and suarez will find the right balance and will be on fire. That is bound to happen i am only worried about midfield. Defense manageable except alves. I am hoping busi would be back on form and xavi/iniesta to control the mid. Rakitic has no clue what he is doing though, maybe lucho did not give him proper instructions. All his talent getting wasted here.

Well how did other diamond teams manage the balance of the formation? Ancelotti used it at milan and chelsea very well. So we could make it work but enrique needs to show he has some knowledge.

Btw the second half was an improvement. Maybe lucho can learn from errors?

We seem to have more control when Iniesta is on form and playing (like the last Ajax game) i think that may be due to the fact that he links up with Neymar better than Xavi so he has more options when passing. Montoya needs a run out so atleast Rakitic doesnt have to worry about being on the wing and can work on linking up in the middle.
