I'm just curious whether we won any match this season because of his tactics or just amount of talent we own.
Judging by 3 big matches:
1) PSG - Barca (owned)
2) RM - Barca (owned, could have ended even worse)
3) Barca - PSG (win, but we were not dominate at all)

The team just isn't good enough. Spending all of the transfer budget on Suarez was a big mistake, on top of that I don't think Luis Enrique is a good manager. We lack midfield in every game. Not impressed with Rakitic at all. Rafinha adds nothing new either and doesn't look ready to step it up.

The only reason why we are winning games is because of the individual brilliance of Neymar (first few months) and now Messi.

The holy truth, I totally agree

Edit: and I totally agree with your post on Messi, Bartra, Rakitic, Iniesta,...

Why is everyone blaming lucho, did he buy suarez rakitic vermalen and mathieu? Sure he made some strange decision, but busquets is finished and xavi and iniesta too, our main transfers should have been to replace them.

Dont blame him alone

It's because of the denial. If you checked the posts during the summer time, everyone was screaming to buy CB-s (Bentia fans) and front line(Reus, Suarez etc). Everyone was assuming all we need to do is strengthen the back and improve the front and we will back on top. If you mentioned in this forum during the summer time that Iniesta and Busy are finished- you would probably be banned from this forum. People are still delusional, they think it's all about Lucho or Tata or whoever. They refuse to understand that the cycle is over and every stone must be turned, every idea should be tested and if you are lucky you can bring the Barca back. There are teams that never recover after the end of the cycle(Milan, Arsenal) and some teams just bounce back(RM for example).

For the last 3/4 years a lot of people on here held Lucho up as some kind of brilliant coach who knew the 'Barca way' due to his work with the B team.

I never bought that. He was given a brilliant group of players for that level at a much older age than most B teams are.

At Roma his recruitment was largely poor and even at Celta he had them pretty much where you would expect in the table.7

Nothing he has done in his coaching career has been unique, eye catching or impressive. Its not suprise the team is where it is but a lot of people wanted this guy.

And after how long has that happened?
I don't know and I don't care, I'm not a RM fan.I'm Barca fan. All I know all the teams go through cycles and Barca is no exception. This is more complex than just swapping Lucho with some kind of "world class" coach. We don't even have slightest idea who that could be.

Exactly what i am trying to say.

I just pointed out your idea that RM could bounce back immediately was not exactly true... ALL teams go through cycles true. And I agree with your last point too, which is the reason I find it funny when people laugh their asses off pointing at Lucho when actually the problem is much more complex. All we can do is wait and HOPE that the team would bounce back soon as Laporta earns back his throne

PSG, Juventus, Atletico all drop points after midweek games and if it wasn't for Casillas saving the penaldo Real Madrid would have also been in trouble. But yeah, let's COMPLETELY FREAK OUT because a tired team couldn't break a super defensive team away from home on a potatoe pitch with heavy rain 3 days after a touch CL game with a clear penaldo denied and Neymar injured. smh

Well. I'm not that optimistic about Laporta.I still cannot forgive him for spending club money on prostitutes or being fooled by Beckham I would prefer somebody more of sporting minded and having business expert as consultant than vice verse. But of course I will take Laporta any day over this office clerk we have.
