Surprised we haven't played the 4-2-3-1 more often.

Roberto played well when he was in a double pivot I imagine Busi Benefiting having Roberto right next to him as Roberto is faster than both Iniesta and Rakitic and would provide Busi even more protection than as of late.

All the big name managers are currently employed which means Lucho will probably be retained if he doesn't walk away from the job or we will get another scrub like Tata.

Depressing.

Depressing?

Do you want them to let him go?

What big managers would you want that are tied up?

I'd be disappointed if Lucho was to leave, I don't think it's his style to give up so easily on a project, and his system is perfect, we just need to fix the squad so that he can rotate better to maintain the level of play.

Seriously, we've been amazing for the past season and this one too up to a month ago, I wouldn't change that, but rather help Lucho to make it work better/longer :)

I've said elsewhere that Jorge Sampaoli could be a good fit if Lucho and the club decide to part ways. His body of work with Chile has been impressive and he has the tactical nous to manage a club like Barca. Having said that, i would prefer to give Lucho support until the end of the season and then we can assess the best way forward. We can still win the double which in itself would be an amazing feat despite the CL exit. A domestic double for the 2nd year running against the Madrid clubs is by no means a small feat and would be a huge accomplishment for him and the players, despite our patchy form at the end. If God forbid, we experience a catastrophic collapse which seems to be on the cards, then i think we could be looking at changes.

Why do we doubt Lucho. I know he made mistakes but he's a young, learning manager who has a bright future. Everyone makes mistakes. Pep did too. Doesn't matter how the season ends, he's a fighter and will learns. He's still young.

I vote to keep Lucho but he needs to prove himself in a certain area next season.
Mr Enrique, how about we have some trust more than just 17 players. How about we actually build some combos so that those substitutes can have some regular team chemistry 'together' as combo's against particularly smaller teams instead of putting them on here and there making them run around below their potential then the match ends and fans comment with
"oh Munir misses chances. . ."
or "samper is not a good enough option at this level . . . . ."
or "as soon as Suarez came off there was no link up play with Munir. . . . ."
or "we must play messi for this game. . . . ."

Rightly so that you are making those comments.
I'm so disappointed that the Barcelona coaching team is so clueless this season when it came to managing 'a whole squad'

Football is a team sport. The season is long. A successful team uses 'their squad'. A successful coach knows how to build combo's with the lesser players so that the best 11 gets some rest. Combinations help individuals play better. These players made it to the Barcelona first team. A dream for thousands and Barcelona act as though the rest of their other available players are not good enough and over play the best players.
There is no need to complicate things. Fatique is really the only reason.

It's what the Super Rugby Champions the Highlanders do. As soon as No.9 comes off, No.10 comes off as well. A new No.9 and No.10 go on the field.
Look at that. . . .. A combo.
Two good players came off >>> Two poor players go on.
Why? because it works better than it would by taking no.10 off and leaving no.9 on to play with a new no.10.
If No.10 goes off injured then No.9 also goes off and a new combo comes on so that a combo can remain.
Why can't Enrique try this. . . . It makes me fume!!!

Our coach is fine .. his replacement shoud be Xavi in 2 years or 3 . Luis enrique seems to be knowing our club Inside out
Xavi I am afraid would fail miserably as a manager.

Yes, he does command respect, as a player. But he is too straight forward and expresses his views too bluntly to not bring in the ego-clashes!
