Say what you will, but if he loses the title after a 11 point lead (+h2h) in the last 9 games, then he is not a very good manager. Sure, in the Champions League, it can happen, but losing La Liga after that lead is unacceptable.

Deportivo, Gijon, Betis, Espanyol, Granada next. Should be 5/5 wins. Places 13, 14, 15, 17 and 18 in La Liga. If he loses the title with this schedule, I would seriously question his ability as a manager.

Lucho has managed the squad poorly this year.

I think we are DEFINITELY going to lose La Liga. I mean we are in free fall, basically doing what Chelsea did at the start of the season.

I'd give Lucho another season even if we lose the league. But he's going to have to make 3 or 4 crucial transfers this summer. If he doesn't show initiative on that then I will start asking questions.

Embarassing from Lucho. Making fun of people's names is quite low. He's having a nightmare.

Well the poor physical condition is the result of not enough squad depth. Not enough squad depth is the results of poor management.

The one thing that worries me most, would be if he actually believes his own lies he's giving the media, about us being in great shape physically, players played great etc .. cause that's just not true.

Poor bench gives you fewer options, but he still messed up. Bilbao game 3-0 and 11 vs 10 in min 55 or so. Did he take one of MSN off? No. Why? Instead of scoring 6 against 10 men Bilbao he could have played Munir and Sandro for at least 30 min to give some rest to the main guns up front. Plenty of games like that one.

No. Imo if he wanted to rotate he could have done so even with this squad. Instead he got excited when we were winning game after game and found out that the team didn't have enough in the tank to keep it up until the end.

I don't blame him tbh, I think this is the time we actually see the consequences of the transfer ban, Lucho managed to do so well with super thin squad, with Messi being two months out and Rafinha's injury, remember how we played with Mascherano as DM and Busi and Rakitic as CM?. We were thinking that arrival of Arda and Aleix will take some pressure of the gala XI, but those two didn't integrate as well as we thought.

euhm, Messi only played 45 minutes in the Bilbao 6-0 win, he came of at half-time with a knock.

OK. So, sub Neymar / Suarez at 3-0 and one extra man. The match was clearly over. Instead, Suarez was going crazy trying to score as much as possible, almost Cristiano Ronaldo style. Same story with the 7-0 Valencia win from the Copa del Rey, too many games in which Lucho and the team went full force when we could have just been more economical. Many games won by min. 60-65, and in those moments he should have subbed one of Messi, Neymar or Suarez.

I'm not disagreeing and initially last season in situations like that Neymar and Suarez were subbed off regulary for Pedro then at some point he stopped doing that.

I really don't blame Lucho. We keep complaining that our players are tired, but we don't really have a bench we can rely on if we want to win the remaining games. Lucho can do little about that, especially considering he did try to sign Nolito in January.

This bad run of form is the result of many factors, and Lucho certainly has had a hand in it. But to say that he is "useless" or that "Xavi and MSN took over last year" and deny him a hand in our treble-winning season is not only unfair, but incorrect.

Messi played the first tweny mins yesterday as if fine then barely moved off the ball the rest of the game and Valencia targeted the left hand side. Just as Real did.

Not blaming Messi as he is either injured or just doesnt have it in his legs but it is destroying the balance of the team when he is standing static in the middle.

What happend time and again yesterday is that Messi came central and Valencia just played narrow. Allowing the ball out to Roberto and Rakitic on the right as they didnt have the quality to hurt them.

Suarez and Neymar had less space and were easy to double up on as their defence was never stretched the way it is when they Messi one side and Ney the other.

Because Messi is not on right Rakitic plays further out that side and he cant do it. He is not good enough on the ball and he is too slow to get back and help Busi in the middle. Busi is left totally exposed as opposition players waltzed through middle of park time and again with Iniesta and Raki nowhere to be seen.

If Lucho wants to play Messi who cant move all that much he needs to change things.

Leave Messi centrally, drop Raki and Iniesta, play Roberto in beside Busi with Messi on front and play a RW to stretch the back line and give Messi options from the central position. Not ideal but I would play Vidal RW with sole role of stretching the oposition back line and leave more space for Messi, Ney and Suarez.
