Should have used Rakitic as DM instead of Gomes too. You don't put a new man there despite how overrated he is.

Yeah...Rakitic has proven to be good defensively and would've suited the role better. I didn't quite understand the Arda sub either when you're looking to capitalize on Madrid's draw, unless Lucho was more concerned about Atletico than trying to find a goal and win the game.

1-1 against Atletico isn't a bad result though, but leaves a sour taste in the mouth. Still just five games in, but need to take our chances from now on and go on a winning run.

Yea, 1-1 is still fine, it's early in the season. But 5/9 points wasted at home in 3 games is too much. We need to go on a winning run that should ideally last until we face Real Madrid at home. And we need to win that game no matter how.

Real Madrid has one tricky away game to Las Palmas and one hard game away to Atletico.

We can't make any more mistakes from now on. 1-1 at home to Atletico is not a big deal, it can happen. It's losing to Alaves that hurt us. No more Alaves episodes from now on please. Need to beat Celta, Sociedad and Sevilla away and we're fine. Also need to win the clasico, it's extremely important.

Atletico will probably lose some more points, they're not as strong as in the past.
