Wait we are going to be without MSN against Hercules?

That doesn't give me the most comfortable feeling but then again I don't care much for the copa this season.

Yes, and also Pique. Masch is staying, maybe he won't be going to SA.

Rijkaard? He hasn't coached anyone for 7 years. Be serious.
Only Sampaoli or Pochettino would be good in my opinion and maybe Koeman. I sincerely doubt Sampaoli would reject Barca if we come for him.

I mean, if the possibility is there, I think its very slim and I think it would damage the relations we have with Sevilla, who have given us quite a few great players over the years. He just doesn't strike me as the type of manager to just use a club for a season just to jump for a bigger fish. I was also half kidding about Rijkaard, I'd love him back for nostalgia purposes but he isn't who we need for the future.

Poch would be interesting but the only thing that concerns me is how Tottenham have performed in Europe under him. Not sure if its down to a lack of depth in the squad or a lack of adjustment on his part.

I just think the best coach to take over for Lucho hasn't become one yet.

Sampaoli only signed a two-year contract with them. So if not after this season, he can leave after a year anyway.

If Lucho leaves, then we can have options. Sampaoli, Pochettino, even Valverde are very good managers, and all have an attacking spirit that would fit us well.

But Lucho shouldn't be fired even if we go trophyless. He's stubborn but he's ours and unless he loses the plot completely and whatever he messes up can't be fixed next season, he should stay.

But we need to challenge hard for CL and La Liga. If we lose La Liga chasing Madrid and pressuring them hard until the end, so be it, I can accept that this is not our season if the team shows character :))) until the end. Same for CL. Going out in QF is not acceptable this season. Beating PSG is obligatory.

Going after someone who spent half of his career in Asspanyol? Come on now, this club has too much ego for that

I hope this isn't premature, but I think we are starting to play a lot better. Since we drew 1-1 with Real our game has definitely improved: Suarez and Iniesta in particular have regained their form (well, Iniesta just returned). Messi is playing divine football, too.
