Sigh.

Again, that video has nothing to do at all with the main topic. Again, trying to get out of the argument. Just FYI, the main issue vs Liverpool at Anfield was getting out of Liverpool's press, not Messi and Suarez pressing the defenders lol.

You also need to read more carefully. I'm talking about the avalanche effect of the 555m, but, like always, you strayed away from the main topic and just talking 555m. contract.
What the hell are you talking about? It wasn't just Liverpool's pressing that was the problem, it was the fact that neither Suarez nor Messi gave on the DH. And the assistant talks directly about how they took advantage of that. Clear your ears and listen again. He's saying - when you don't put pressure on a VVD player like that - implying that he's excellent at passing - you're going to have problems.

So stop spouting nonsense here about how Klopp doesn't think Leo should be defensive. Yes, he said it in public, but in fact he used those shortcomings of Messi (and Suarez) against us. Klopp's assistant, who was directly involved in strategizing against us in the match, is clear and articulate about this.

The €555m contract was there, pretty much everyone inside the club knew about it already, for even Football Leaks knew about it as early as January 2018.

Yes, yes there was no cascading effect. And Leo did not write to Bartom - President, lower the salaries of others, but don't touch Luis [Suarez] and me. (c)
Leo's contracts have nothing to do with it. Of course, of course I believe it. Bartomeu's a fool to just hand out huge sums of money to everyone. And of course Bartomeu just gave better contracts to players (including age players) for nothing. Of course, of course. I believe that.

Less watching lectures, more watching games please. If you actually watch the game, you know what the issue is and it's not the lack of pressing from Suarez and Messi.

I debunked that everyone knew the 555m, you can look again in this forum.

Again, no 1 ounce of criticism of Bartomeu to which you claim is equally at fault as Messi. You should really cut out the lying mate.

Games? I gave you an example of a game where Messi's team was humiliated. Why do I need Klopp saying that Leo can be undefended when he built his positional attacks around Leo's (and Suarez's) terrible play without the ball when preparing for Messi's match against Barcelona.

Listen and enjoy.

Guys, today we have a lesson on tactical analysis of a football match. Tell me, why is Henderson free between the lines?

Watch the game again and notice the lack of pressing is not the biggest issue in that night. Any person with common sense can see the issue.

Also, read Klopp's quote again and read what you posted and see if they line up.

Messi obviously isn't the perfect player. You cannot have his offensive output if you want full press. It's a compromise. Prime Messi played 4000-5000 minutes per season. You expect him to press like Raphinha for 90 minutes and still produce 1.3 G/A per game over 15 years?

Still the fact remains that Messi is the most successful player of all times. As if CL is the only important title. Let's not forget how incredibly spoiled we were with our La Liga title subscription which is valued a lot more now than back then.

There is no modern player who could replace Messi and improve Barca during prime years.

What nonsense are you talking about? When you have minus 2 people in defense and when these two people do not in any way prevent the central defenders and the defender from moving the ball freely, this is always a very big problem.

There are public words, and there are deeds. So, in the match in which he disgraced Barcelona to the whole world, Klopp used the shortcomings of Leo and his friend Suarez in playing without the ball to build his attacking actions. Easily.

Lol, I'm not asking him to press like Raphinha or even like Lewandowski, but hell you can just run up to an opponent who's two fucking meters away and just block the passing line. Can you at least do that?

Again, read Klopp's quote carefully word-by-word and then line it up with what you wrote (the hint is Suarez)

Again, watch the game again to find the main issue (You probably need to watch it at .25 speed as the game seems too fast for you in normal speed)

Watch the Argentina NT games to see that he does at the age of 35.

Apparently not, according to you. Who could? While providing equal numbers as him?

Maybe I should revisit the Liverpool vs Barcelona match, in which Klopp humiliated Messi's team by building his attacking potential around Leo's (and Suarez's) awful play without the ball?

Well it's no secret that Leo ran more in the national team than in Barcelona, because Argentine fans harshly criticized the national team for failures, while Barcelona fans always exalted him and turned a blind eye to his lazy game without the ball.

They criticized him so much that he cried after the finals and then announced his retirement from the national team.

Argentina fans have balls, but for Barcelona fans even Leo's shit is a tasty dessert.
