If tonight proves anything it is that there is a better option upfront in terms of attacking output.

I’m not even talking about when he was sat on the bench... He was atrocious when he came on.

Everything he touched today turned to shit. He only had one good pass to Messi, whose shot was then blocked.

I think he has max. one good season left, then we have to move on, unless he wants backup role. He is too expensive for that though.

Are you loving the front trio in the first half?

I think it would be better for both parts to let him leave now. Otherwise he might become a burden for our squad in the future.

I hate to say it but I think we are much better off without him. I appreciate everything he’s done for the club but he just shouldn’t feature in our plans going forward. Any counter attack he is too slow and offers nothing going forward. Selling him would give us a decent amount of cash. Unfortunately I think there is no chance we sell him as he’s butt buddies with Messi and I don’t see Messi letting him leave.

Most people don't really give a f*ck about reputation as long as you're a great player and can do the job. Look at Ibrahimovic, Diego Costa, Neymar and most of all, look at our very own club. They bought him just after he got suspended by FIFA for biting.

Saurez is still the shits and as another 2 WC seaosns in him, the only issue is that he and Messi have lost a step at the same time and u can't carry two players like that in your team it restricts our options too much, and he isn't Messi.

The only issue is what to do, as I see it, if we are not playing a true 4-2-3-1 he and Messi cannot play in the same team.

If he produced in big games he would not have 4 goals in his last 19 CL games(last two years) and cover less distance and hardly press anymore. Turning up for a few La Liga games and stadpadding simply isn't enough.

This. 4 goals in last 19 games is just bad. Like I said couple of seasons ago "against" MAtS that we need a GK who can save us from defeat in at least couple of games per season when we underperform, so we need a striker that will do the same. Luckily MAtS found his way through, but Suarez is just not getting any better, especially in the big games.
