It is yeah I agree completely.. I want him to do the same. But If we play within ourselves as a team like against Roma and can’t play forward him and Messi will get no service and probably get the blame.

I think it was because he felt the tie was over so he could rest and avoid getting suspended for the final.

don't think so . He told Ernie he wanted to be substituted after 5 minutes AT ONCE and Ernie couldn't do nothing about that.

According to AS, he trained in the Gym today and is still using treatment on his knee.

He will play on Saturday and rest for 10 days until we face Lyon.

Seems that his knee problems come back if he plays excessively without much rest.

The knee issues are chronic. He played well AND STILL asked to be subbed off for his knee. This is not complicated connection of dots here, heavier match and minute load, the worse it gets. Not going to change for sure until the end of the season. Whether surgery and 6 weeks out or so is a possibility then, only the medical staff knows and even then they may have mixed views.

Seems like he won't be called up by Uruguay and will sit out the international break in March.
