New year,SAME OLD SHIT

As someone said these days,if the board was competent enough, they should have started offloading the amigos back in 2017 and acquiring new blood.

Instead we kept them for TOO LONG. The result is that no good team wants to buy them and if they do,they offer humiliating packages(under 10M).

-For example Rakitic should have left in 2017,or in 2018 at the latest.

-Suarez and Busi should have left in 2018 or in 2019 at the latest.

-Alba and Pique should have left last year or now at the latest.

Instead,we are STUCK with all the old, delusional and disrespectful amigos.

The only good thing is that their (very few) supporters will finally understand that the amigos are well past their primes, they are basically retired veterans now(but they still receive millions)

What point of Suarez not playing all that much and giving up a longer contract elsewhere did you miss?

That is why he would give a fuck.

You know damn if he stays this season that he's going to play enough games to get another contract extension. He's on 350k a week, and he'll be our only striker realistically. Which would mean he'll get another contract extension next summer.

He wont stay and play 60% of games. Wait and see.

Yeah lol Suarez is fucked if he stays.
If he does an Umtiti and exists at the club without doing fuck all while raking in the cash I understand him. But if he expects to play he's way out of his depth.

Koeman won't play Suarez.

Based on what though ? Yh most likely at the start of the season he won't play but what if the results aren't there and pressure from media and fans forces him to use Suarez again.

This is why I want these washed up players to get out of the club ( Suarez , Busquets and Alba). You will always have this uneasiness of them weasling their way back to the starting 11.

Let's hope he's not that type of person to chicken out and be a puppet.

not a matter of koeman chickening out or not. with griezmann being so shit at finding the opposition goal it's quite understandable if he eventually starts suarez.

as others have said - let's wait and see. as usual, people imagine all sorts of scenarios but know nothing at all about what's going on.

Face it Amigos are winning

Messi Toretto: You will always be with me, and you will always be my Brother

Messi Toretto: I used to say I live my life a quarter mile at a time, and I think that's why we were brothers, because you did too.

Messi Toretto: I don't have friends. I got family

Messi Toretto: My yerba mate is your yerba mate, brother

Koeman has no say in transfers. Bart came out to the press and held the "contract termination" talk, deflecting blame on the dressing room, immediately after Bayern, before Koeman was even appointed.

And it wasn't performance related anyway, it's merely an excuse to salvage one of the highest wage bills in all sports, which prohibits new signings without reducing it. All negotiated by Bart.

Suarez is the oldest player with the highest wages right after Messi. If it was merely performance-related, Griezmann would go first:

Griezmann: 11 goals in 38 starts, does not function with Messi.
Suarez: 21 goals in 28 starts, complements Messi.

Unfortunately Bart and his pupped Koeman apparently tried to be dicks about it and part ways in disrespectful manner. Suarez in return asked for full compensation. So we're reading about "possibly staying" now as it makes no sense to pay him out and also let him leave.

In a world where Bart is even semi-competent, he would order Suarez to his office, tell him: "Look, recent years were tough, we need to start a new project with fresh blood. There is room for you but you need to take a back seat at 33 years of age, let's negotiate a new contract with reduced wages or find a new club for you."

Instead he gets a 1 minute phone call from a new coach who tells him that he isn't in his plans with the president deflecting blame and being a wannabe tough guy on camera.

I'd ask for full compensation as well.

I think Koeman would like a change from Suarez.

The chances of Su?rez staying at Bar?a are growing as the days go by. Koeman wouldn't mind the Uruguayan staying, although 15 days ago he informed that the player wasn't in his plans. [cat radio]

This club is a fucking joke lol Full of incompetent clowns from top to bottom. They deserve trophyless seasons for many more years.

:VdB: He's sit at Barca for another poor season getting paid handsomely then running off to MLS for free, with an ego boosting sendoff. Way to go!
