Malcom

Like him primarily for tactical reasons being much more of a winger than Dembele. He sticks to his sideline and did anyone catch around the 90th minute where, Sergi Roberto gave him a pass, which he layed off and immediately made a run for a ball down the wing? I liked that more than the goal. When he got it the next time, he combined a bit with Sergi before going inside and almost finding Suarez with a nice cross.

I like that he can finish. I like that while he sticks to his position out wide, stretching out the pitch, he can still very much go inside to create something if he sees the space. And most of all I like that he wants to run behind defenders.

It's amazing how even Barca fans got to be scared easily after having coward of a manager.

Malcom can easily play against 90% of opponents Barca will face this season.

Nope, LaLiga has improved teams like Atletico and Real are all struggling hardcore.

Malcom certainly is good enough right now to play most teams here in the league.

It's all about trust. If Arthur can come in and do what he has done so far then I'm sure Malcom can as well since he seems like a good level headed guy.

According to Miguel Rico (MD), Messi talked with Valverde about Malcom and wondered if there was anything wrong with Malcom as he was being left out and Valverde told him nothing was wrong.

I was thinking, If Malcom impresses and Dembele ends up being sold this summer would you guys rather spend the Dembele money towards De Ligt and De Jong and use Malcom as the Dembele replacement.

Or use the Dembele money on a Dembele replacement despite having Malcom? Right now I'm leaning on if Malcom becomes the real deal for us and a better fit than Dembele, I want to use the money if we sell Dembele on other areas of the squad such as the CB and CM spots.

I feel we are getting to a point that this probably whats going to happen. I say this because it seems Coutinho's future under Valverde will be our LW by the looks of it.

id honestly try negotiate a swap with Chelsea, Dembele for Hazard as if were keeping EV it makes sense to buy already world class players. if thats not possible though, give Malcom a shot and sell Dembele to PSG/milk an EPL team, i still think he'll go for a decent price.

we also need a ST don't forget and selling Dembele we'd still need another winger

i don't see Dembele leaving though, atleast not this summer.. the board won't admit failure

That's very hypothetical. If Malcom proves to be good enough, why look further? But we can't possibly know how good he is. Since he barely plyed.

Yeah that's why I hope maybe with this goal he got vs Inter, Valverde will give him a shot now.

If it works out the club will have a talented and very young Brazilian Winger that could well become a star. Sure he may not be in the same talent class as Neymar was, but it will feel good having a Brazilian winger that doesn't have his entourage go behind the clubs back and try to undermine us for more money.
