LMAO, some of you here got super hard on Willian's signing and posted essays explaining how he is worth 65m+, suddenly Malcolm is the right signing, not Willian.

What's left for us who were against signing Willian from the beginning? Such a herd mentality.

Who posted an essay saying he is worth 65m?

You sound angry you cant moan about this and trying to find an angle.

Nothing compared to 45m for Muniain though:lol: Or 40m on Seri:lol:

I don't know what to think about this transfer. He is the same age as Dembele, and plays on the same position. Never watched his matches, but on the highlights he mostly beats his opponents by using his pace, his close control needs to improve. He also has a great left foot, loves to shot outside the box like Coutinho. Lets hope that he has the same impact like the last Brazilian Barca got from the French league.

You need context.
If you have 2 wingers and a CF like Etoo who can defend, then wingers could defend less.
If you have Messi and Suarez in attack, you are in problems then.
If your midfielder is Coutinho, you are in deep shit then.

The same as how we (forum) lately learned that we need some mobility since Busi and Raki are slow and how Pjanic wouldn't work with them, in the same way we need to analyze defending: you need to add our other players into the maths.

For example, try to write your dream lineup for next season, you can include Malcom, Dembele, Arthur.
Pick 442 or 433 and try to write a lineup without 4 players who are not defending too much.

I thought I was done with Maths when I started Uni, but here you are giving me a maths lesson. What have I done to deserve this BBZ?

It is also akin to the formation used. modern 4-4-2 needs two-way wingers for balance. its very easy the formation becomes 4-2-4 otherwise and the midfield duo will have difficulties to connect with the attackers and defensively will be at challenge for any team playing a 3 man midfield.

Whoever blushes is already guilty.

Yes, can compare you saying 30 years old Players player is worth 80m.

I don't get how people can see him as a pace abuser. If anything I think he's clearly slower than Dembele and relies more on craftiness and change of direction to beat players off the dribble. His straight line driving dribbles are often labored and pressed.

Dembele's a lot faster but Malcom accelerates really well and shields/controls the ball smarter. I think his ball deliveries and longshots are promising and have room to grow.

Said opposite and 80m for Willian is too much.

But nice attempt.

Getting desperate there Georgie.

Quote it.

Just like I quoted you claiming Muniain for 45m is better than Coutinho for 100m.

BBZ, what's your dream lineup? Based on players we have and those available on the market.

I understand Willian. Why the fuck are some against this deal though?

Dembele play on both the right and left, Malcom would get plenty of opportunities. When Malcom is RW, Dembele moves to LW where he thrives and Coutinho moves from LW to AM/CM.

Malcom and Dembele give a lot of flexibility tactically while still getting playing time in the biggest competitions playing with and against the absolute best players. They get to develop.
