Malcom

No, I'd say Moura is a little bit better. And Alli is slightly better than both. But yea, he could compete even at Tottenham.

malcom has a long way to go to show he is at the moura and alli level. moura has been on the brazil nt and alli is one of the top prospects in his position and a nt and cl runners up 1st choice player.

i also don't think he should be compared to dembele. the latter has way more special gifts like blinding quickness and two footedness. dembele is one of the most talented young players in the world. whether he can mold that into a consistent force (and stay healthy)on a top tier club--jury is out. but not his very rare talent.

If it means we’ll sign a back up LB then it is what it is. I like him as a player but right now we have limited minutes for him. I’m nervous if Dembele goes down because Malcom is the only other player with some pace in attack.

There’s limited minutes because the coach doesn’t value nor see the benefits of rotation. He’s too short sighted to make use of depth. Even if we had MSN they would be burnt out by March under him.

If Malcolm is sold we should look at another attacker with some pace. We’re already slow upfront apart from Dembele.

We get a lot of pace and width from Alba and Semedo. Griezmann and FDJ are pretty quick too, who we didn't have last year. I don't think Malcom's pace, which is OK--but doesn't even approach Dembele's, really would make much difference to a team with AG, Alba, Semedo, FDJ, etc.

Surprised a team like Arsenal or Dortmund isn't in for him. Or even a mid table PL team.

Everton were willing to pay the fee (40M), but not match Zenits wage-offer (6M/y), according to Sport.

I find it quite funny that people were so worried about his career and felt sorry for him that Valverde destroyed his development and career - and then at first opportunity he goes to Russia for the money instead of interested Bundesliga or PL-clubs :rofl1:

deli ali is a poor barometer. the guy is struggling to beat off jesse lingard for the NT spot.

hes been living off that one good season. a jack of all trades.

Not bad. Shame he didn't get a fair chance but that's just another anecdote in long tales of Valverde's failures.
