It's always about injuries. Says a lot they need Shaw and Martinez fit to attempt to play decent football. The system is built on sand if so.

Amrabat is fucking pathetic mate. You are proving you never watched them last season. I seen all but one game (cue jamdav saying 'you watch more har har')

The FA Cup Final again? Fuck sake, STOP CLINGING TO IT. They're a cup team. They scored from a mistake, an admittedly great second goal. The entire last hour of the game they camped in their own box and invited City to break them down.

How is that being better at passing and under pressure?

Was biggest criticaster of Amrabat. But picked it up last games of season and did great in fa final. Think he lost muscle in favour of mobility.

Heard it all so many times from clueless know-fuck-all fuds.

'United are back!' only for them to revert to type.

Try not to believe everything you read in the tabloids. And don't read too much into pre-season friendlies.

If Bruno plays false nine they absolutely have to improve the speed of passing in final third as balls into box not going to be all that much use.

Be interesting to see how ETH approaches it.

Under a decent manager, perhaps, but Ten-Bob is so way out of his depth it's hysterically funny.
They'll probably take off flying for the first couple of weeks, the tabloids (and the media in general) will be hyping them up to the stratosphere, but by the onset of winter it will be the usual case of them slipping down the league. There will be disharmony within the camp, and two or three players will go out on loan in the January window - the usual rag stuff.
But the fun, the real laugh-a-second hilarity will begin once Waistcoat is there. Watch the plastic raggies then when they are tired of sideways and reverse passing, Ratboy will be on his soapbox inciting the braindead morons to don their zebra trousers and hit the protest trail...again.'

Don’t know if they’re back. Just saying improved in areas and some players on individual level. Still need to rid themselves of some deadweight before can really dominate over whole game.

Indeed. Long way to go for them and need to show more of what did in those 2 city games to have a chance.

Where have they improved?

They finished 8th last season and haven't kicked a ball since.

Are you one of these football fans who think clubs improve by signing players? They have to do the business on the park. Football isn't played on paper.

Stop following Transfer Centre.

They can't play like that most games.

They won't get the space and they won't be able to sit back for the entire second half as in FA Cup Final.

This is basic stuff you cannot understand seemingly. They cannot play the way they play against City against most teams.

It was also the community shield the other day. City didn't give a fuck, yet you take it seriously. Pathetic.

Let's face it Fellow Blues, we've been miles ahead of them for more than a decade now. That's a long, long time in football. As much as I took great delight in beating them in the CS I had to face the fact that anything less would have been an embarrassment. That's how far we have come
It ain't over yet, either ! :)
Poster 2: I don’t agree that it would have been embarrassing, as we had team consisting of four Academy kids, several players, who were playing their first pre-season game, plus Erling, Eddie, Kova and Joško, against a practically full-strength side.

The biggest bonus to come from Saturday’s result is that we won’t have to put up with the rag sycophants in our sports media crowing about how the rags are going to take the League by storm this season.

Great game to start the season and to see if they can take it into the full season.

Go sour very quickly if they dont.

Them and Liverpool be the most interesting to watch for how they approach games compared to last season.
