Yeah I got into weightlifting a while back when I was already a few kilos overweight. Big mistake! I went from 87 to 94 kgs, and it all went straight to my face, hiding my jawline and cheekbones. I have since dropped down to 78 kgs, and it makes such a huge difference to facial attractiveness.

I always tell guys who are thinking about shaving to keep their body fat low (if they ask, don’t want to insult a guy who’s already worried about his hair loss, you know), as it will more often than not make a huge difference in their appearance.

Yeah Sane pulls it off so well. Was he already shaving when Titanic came out?
The weird thing about my fat distribution is it goes more to my belly and backside than my face. My face looks a little fat, but I have zero double chin despite being overweight, and I can sort of pass for a slim enough guy if you cover my body up in pics, lol. So I guess it just all depends on the individual. It does make a big difference to facial looks though and I plan to lose weight. Obviously bald and fat doesn't go together.

He was, because he had little hair (maybe just a thin layer of dark but very receding) in the promotional photos for Titanic etc. It's weird, as a boy I thought Leo Di Caprio looks amazing in Titanic, and technically he does, but I can imagine a lot of women find him too boyish and babyfaced too. He also has personality halo in that film - Jack Dawson is the star and the guy who sweeps Rose off her feet, whereas Cal is the scummy, abusive boyfriend. That mattered a lot for women watching. It wouldn't work with reversed roles though as Leo looked too young to pull off a scumbag older man type like Zane did.

If it sounds like I love Titanic, you'd be wrong - I think it's a wank film. But it does have two great looking guys at the time in Leo and Zane. I never really thought Kate Winslet was that beautiful. They could probably have found prettier actresses for her role, but she is a very good actress.

Meeks has a super receded jaw though.
Doesn’t hurt his appearance tho with his other positive features.

You know, I didn’t even think about these things when I was in my 20s. Male Jawline, cheekbones, etc. Not sure it was even a thing back then. 🤣

I’m glad that I didn’t have the modern pressures in dating that young dudes have today.

By the way, talking about guys who can get most women (and not bald), I rewatched Seven Years in Tibet recently. Brad Pitt looks ridiculous with blond curtains. Grealish wishes he looked 5 percent as good.

Oh- you’re one of the lucky ones. I gain a kilo and it goes straight to my stomach and face.

Wearing dark colored clothes is also a nice little trick if one wishes to appear slimmer.

Agree on Kate Winslet, but she’s a wonderful actress.

It does go to my stomach, but not my face. I mean my face could definitely be more defined right now, but I don't look fat from the neck up, per se.

Yeah wearing dark clothes helps a lot. I get told that black, grey and dark blue suit me in terms of colour. I have had a few people say white looks good, but others say it doesn't contrast enough with my skin tone (like you, I am Northern European phenotype, with fair skin and blue eyes, well I expect you have blue eyes). I could tan though, but I am kinda scared I would end up with skin cancer so I sometimes wear sunblock. I am not white as a sheet or anything but darker skin would be cool.

I looked at Winslet there and she has some nice pics - she can scrub up well. But in general I am not that attracted to her. Not saying she is ugly, but obviously there's prettier women in Hollywood than when she was young eg Margot Robbie, Ana De Armas, Sydney Sweeney, Kristen Bell, Alexandra Breckenridge, Scarlett Johansson, Jasmine Tookes and many others.

Anyway this is well off topic - I am sure we are irritating some guys. Should probably take it to an aesthetics thread.

The weird thing with that is that women don't generally know much about facial structure, but it's all those things that they find attractive without realising. If you ask a woman what a philtrum, ramus, canthal tilt or gonial angle are, most will have no clue. But they look at them without knowing what they are. They know mainstream stuff like jawline, eye colour, hair.

Sometimes I think it's overplayed though. I mean look at Gosling - he's very mid but some women still fancy him despite him breaking so many rules about what is attractive or not in a male face. Sometimes it's just about looking at a face in its totality and seeing if you like it or not - even if the cheekbones aren't high or the jawline isn't great.

I see that you’re well versed in what works well and what doesn’t. I often wear darker clothes too for contrast, as my skin is quite pale.

Kate Beckinsale is beautiful too, and she’s 50+ now, isn’t she? She’s aged so well. Normally it’s the other way around, men tend to age much better than women, but she’s an exception to the rule.

Hahaha yeah, have to work to your strengths lol. I wear glasses too (I have to wear them, not a fashion statement) and some have said the glasses make me look more intelligent and kinder, more caring, and approachable (which isn't necessarily always good as women like bad boy looks often). I would say I look more intimidating without them. I have a few different pairs of rimmed ones and one rimless, and can't decide whether oval or rectangle glasses look better on me.

I have been known to wear a silver chain on occasion as well. But I was much more into jewellery when younger.

Sounds like we have the same skin tone, lol. You are from Scandinavia so it makes sense. And I am from Northern Europe too, with Irish blood, so yeah lol.

Kate Beckinsale is absolutely stunning, yes. Amazing looking. Think she was born in early 70s but not sure.

Lol @Temptation is reading all this and taking notes. He's gonna recruit us as he's into all this looksmax stuff.

She was gorgeous. Unfortunately overdid the plastic surgeries and botox procedures recently.

Looked amazing in The Only Living Boy in New York(2017) where she has a fling with both the father and the son. Decent flick too.
With Pierce Brosnan in the film

So beautiful

She's that level of beautiful woman that you'd fuck her without a condom even if you knew she had AIDS.

Nah I had never heard of it actually, which is unusual for me. But I will now you have mentioned it.
Okay lemme temper your expectations here.

This is not some sort of masterpiece. It's just a fun breezy watch and a feel-good movie. It's just a simple, refreshing flick carried by a stellar cast and Kate's sex appeal.
