We could do what Dortmund did with Lewandowski considering we are in strong position financially and no top striker will be available in the summer....Rooney will be 30 when his contract expires so he may decide to stay at United if we improve next season...

but how much value would you place on having Rooney for one season? He's easily worth 20m+ considering his presence can be the difference between top 4th and 5th place.....if he doesn't sign a new contract we could sell him in January where we may get even get more transfer fee from desperate clubs

ManU will come good...it might just take a season.
They have a v. good GK.
They need to be playing Evans/Smalling/Jones (any 2 from 3), give them a run in the team, and get rid of Ferdinand and Vidic; and a new LB - Shaw from S/hampton would do.
They need at least 2 Midfielders - a creative, pass-seeing, run-with-the-ball, scoring type, and a CDM who can win the ball in the tackle and properly protect the back 4.
Their strike force of RvP and Rooney are one of the best in the EPL.

Kagawa looking good again in the CAM role... in the 2nd half. When he's there, Man U looks like a passing team, though you can partially thank Fletcher and Carrick for that. His vision and positional ability set him apart from the rest of the team and is totally wasted out wide with the current Man U system (plays well in that position for Japan...). Januszaj should grow up so he can start out wide also.

Sucks how Moyes never seems to start Kagawa in the CAM role and obviously Januszaj isn't a CAM or striker..... I'd even argue that as a whole team, Kagawa will make them play better even if Rooney-RvP can arguably give better results. I'd rather see a team play better than just win games scrappily though. Even then... Moyes had Fellaini has his main CAM in Everton. I really don't think he appreciates the technical aspect of the game and Kagawa should just leave if he doesn't get any more CAM starts after this game.

Januzaj has to end up in the attacking midfield spot, his dribbling and vision is on another level to any other United player, including Kagawa. Only way is up for him and United.

If real sign Alberto Moreno than Coentrao deal looks likely although I don't think he's a massive improvement on Evra...I hope we win vs Chelsea or get thrashed because that'll send the signal to Moyes that we need to spend....
