Moyes has gone off his rocker, ill forget him hailing the dippers as favourites and aspiring to be like city he has now come out and said Sir Alex would be struggling this year with the squad (Despite being happy with it in september).

The scoreline faltered us some what.

But it was great to see Kagawa involved and dosing well. Rooney is a better poacher than playmaker. Januzaj came back well from his break. A wonderful cameo. It was nice to see Chicharito among the goals also.

Bayern Munich are going to destroy us during midweek but I think we should realise that and make it a spectacle. Forget a tactical approach. Their midfield is too much to handle and our defence isn't at full strength or good enough at presnt.

Play to our strength and attack them. Press high and just go for it. Even if we lose 5-3 on the night. At least we wil be entrained. Giggs, Rooney, Kagawa, Welbeck and Janzuaj can get the better of an average Munich defence.

I'd start all five of them and show some passion. Don't invite pressure on.

Hopefully Moyes will be gone by June and we can rebuild under a new manager. The attacking players are there to be utilised under the right philosophy and system. Klopp in a dream world.

Premier League - Paper Round: United want Ancelotti to replace Moyes

1209279.jpg

Ancelotti to replace Moyes at Manchester United: David Moyes might have been expecting some good headlines on Sunday after enjoying one of his biggest wins of the season against Aston Villa on Saturday. No such luck: instead, he gets to sit over his cornflakes reading about who will succeed him in the dugout at Old Trafford. The Daily Star Sunday reports that "Carlo Ancelotti will be offered the job if David Moyes gets the sack," with the Real Madrid manager "set for the Bernabeu axe". The paper says that the United board haven't decided for 100% certain to fire Moyes - though rumours have been flying about player revolts and all sorts if he doesn’t go - but that they are "currently weighing up their options for the summer should they decide current boss Moyes has to go."

Paper Round says: Ancelotti is one of the coaches that United should have gone for in the first place - unlike Moyes, he would come to the job already well used to dealing with the big budgets and bigger egos of a top club. The Villa victory might have kept the wolves from Moyes's door for now, but only an amazing run of wins between now and the end of the season can see him keep his job permanently.

Manchester United plan £200m summer overhaul - with Giggs among those on way out: The Sunday Telegraph reports a very different United-based story - claiming that "Manchester United could spend £200 million on new players while several established players will be shown the door at Old Trafford this summer." United are apparently gambling on the idea that not being distracted by Europe next season will give them a brilliant chance of winning the league - and given Liverpool's run at the title this year, who's to say they're wrong? Luke Shaw, Toni Kroos, William Carvalho and Ilkay Gundogan are the names set to join, while Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Shinji Kagawa, Javier Hernández, Wilfried Zaha, Nani and Anderson are on their way out. Robin van Persie, the report adds, will not be sold.

In the Sunday Express there is another twist, incidentally: Ryan Giggs, a player-coach at United, is set to quit after a falling-out with Moyes. "There have been some heated exchanges between the pair over some of the training methods and tactics," the paper claims. "Giggs also believes he has been under-used, especially when the club have been up against it and in need of some uplifting results." Phil Neville's head is also on the block, the same report adds.

Paper Round says: A summer clear out and spending spree will happen whether Moyes stays in the job or not - and the four names mentioned would be fabulous additions if they can be persuaded to join a rescue mission to save Old Trafford from sinking further into the mire. The big question remains whether United would trust such a major rebuilding project to a man who utterly failed to realise that such an overhaul was necessary when he took over last summer. As for Giggs and Neville? It's no wonder there's friction after such a poor season - if Moyes goes, Neville will certainly leave too, while Giggs should probably have headed off elsewhere last summer in any case.

I know that pissed me of, if Fergie spent £70mil on our squad from lasts season you can guarantee we would've been in top 3 probably near Chelsea, Fergie was able to squeeze a lot more better performances out of much worser players, we beat Arsenal 8-2 with a midfield of Cleverly/Anderson, yet now we just get spanked by our rivals 3-0.

The summer transfer window would have gone differently if Fergie was in charge.....I'm sure he wouldn't have wasted 27 million on Fellaini and he would've signed a better midfielder......Garay was also apparently a done deal before Moyes pulled out.......so with 70 million to spend we'd be challenging for the title under fergie.....

Jim lawlor had been scouting Thiago for 2 years, along with Herrera it would of been likely that we would of had one of them. Moyes likes to scout players himself and without acting upon the recommendations we got Fellaini which lets face it ended up a panic buy. Sir Alex never finished out of the top 3 with even worse squads than we have now, and would not have broken all those "Records" of course we would be challenging, but then its Alex Ferguson, with his own squad.

Key: S.R. = Starting Regular, Squad = Squad Rotation Player Only

KEEP
GK David de Gea (S.R.)
DF Rafael (Squad)
DF Phil Jones
DF Jonny Evans (Squad)
MF Juan Mata (Only as CAM, otherwise bench)
FW Wayne Rooney (S.R.)
GK Anders Lindegaard
MF Michael Carrick (Squad)
FW Danny Welbeck (Squad)
MF Shinji Kagawa (Good player but not being given a fair opportunity to show it)
DF Alexander Büttner (Squad)
MF Adnan Januzaj (S.R.)

GET RID
DF Patrice Evra (Thinks he's a Winger, doesn't bother defending anymore and past-it)
DF Rio Ferdinand (Finished. More interested in being a celebrity)
MF Ryan Giggs (When a 40 gets MotM you know you've got problems)
DF Chris Smalling (So overrated its untrue)
FW Javier Hernández (Has stagnated. Needs a new challenge)
DF Nemanja Vidić (Leaving anyway)
MF Nani (You could be forgiven for thinking he retired)
MF Ashley Young :)facepalm: Was never good enough and never will be)
FW Robin van Persie (A disgrace of a professional. Last person I'd want in the trenches)
MF Tom Cleverley (Needs to drop down a level)
MF Darren Fletcher (Won't be the same player, partly due to his illness)
MF Antonio Valencia (Just an athlete)
MF Marouane Fellaini (Waste of money and a total embarrassment)

I'm not suggesting all these players should be moved on this summer. That would be ridiculous. But I would expect them gone by the start of the 2015-16 season.

BUY:
2 CBs
1 LB
1 RB
2 CMs
Maybe a winger

And that's only for their starting lineup. They need a complete overhaul, starting with getting rid of Moyes. Their only players who should be anywhere near a starting spot for a club like Man U are Rooney, Mata, De Gea and maybe Januzaj and Kagawa. And I guess RVP when he's on form, but he hardly ever is these days.

I hope for Man U's sake that the 200 mil thing is true, because they're gonna need it if they wanna accomplish anything next season.

Do people actually believe this? That SAF was some magician that just managed to fluke his way to the title? There's not much wrong with their team. They have more than enough talent to at least be in the top 4. They don't need a complete overhaul. They need a new manager...

And a few other signings as well, but a complete overhaul? No way.

why should just concentrate on starting XI.....likes of cleverly, valencia are still decent squad players.....you can't have world class players as squad members............

This must be the worst season of all time for United fans. Apart from Moyes proving to be a donkey at United you also suddenly have Liverpool on top of the table and Moysie's former club is also doing better than ever since getting rid of him.

Everton have won five consecutive PL games for the first time since October/November 2002 in David Moyes' first full season in charge.
The Toffees need only six points from their last seven games to achieve their highest points total of the PL era.

You couldn't have scripted it any better at the start of the season.

SAF was simply able to get the best out of a shitty squad. Not every manager can do well with that squad, SAF was unique. But I agree, Man U do need a new manager. But they need to overhaul their squad as well.
