Manuel Agudo Durán(Nolito)

Best midfielder around
Absolute garbage. Luckily the latest news say that will join Pep at Man City.

He is not even near Barca quality. His is incredibly slow and his dribling is so predictable. All the time I have this strange filling he will fall over the ball. I can not believe he is ahead of Pedro in Spain squad. Good player for Celta, nothing more, nothing less...

Nolito is a good player. One bad game doesn't change the great season he had. But you guys don't need to worry. Looks like Pep is taking him to city.

One bad game and the pitchforks come out

And yes he is slow, but he's always been slow. He doesn't rely on his pace.

Yeah we need pace with all that space we have when we play........... oh wait...

Yes, but imagine our team next season, if let's say Neymar gets injured:
Messi on a RW without too much motivation to run, play or move at all in majority of matches.
Super turtle Nolito on a left.
Another turtle dribbler Raki on a Rcm.
33 years old granny Iniesta on a Lcm, and getting slower each weak.
And good old turtle Busi behind them...

I can already see excuses on this forum:
But Malaga/Villareal/whoever parked the bus. It is hard to play against a parked bus and to break them down, it is not our team's fault.
(Also comments like: xx team always plays hard against us and opens up against Real...
Maybe because Real actually has at least some forwards and younger midfielders who can actually run in their team?)

We are building a team of 30-years-old without any pace and with too many older players who won too many trophies and lost majority of their motivation.
And then if Messi will again move into a middle in majority of matches, this doesn't sound as a promising season.
I wouldn't be surprised if Tata's season is incoming with current pace, age and motivation (and Lucho losing a control over some players and over our formation).

Sorry, I don't see this lack of motivation you are constantly talking about. :) One player that I think had the hardest way to motivate himself against smaller opponents was Alves and he's gone. I don't see that in players like Messi, Iniesta, Raki and not to talk about Suarez. We'll also get some young players like Denis and Umtiti, who didn't win much in their careers so far so they'll add some motivation. We don't need to buy superstars like Pogba to get that extra motivation. Nolito (IF we buy him) is not the youngest anymore but he also didn't win much in his career so he'll be motivated to play here.

I agree about lack of speed but then again, when did our game really depend on that? During Pep's time it was always more about moving smart than moving more than opponents because it's almost impossible to overrun opponents when you have 65-70% possession. We have some speed in MSN though and they can still be very dangerous if/when we decide to sit back and play on counters more.
