This is so true and so sad. When he plays next to Mascherano, more often than not he'll be the superior CB. Yet somehow when Mascherano and Pique are both available, there's no way in hell that Bartra would get playing time. At least not in "important" games. If his performances this season, especially the recent ones, don't convince whoever the coach is next season that Bartra is a legit CB option, I don't see what more he can do to make that happen.
