Funny how different our opinon is of the same player, imo Masche has been our most consistent player this season. Heading is maybe not his strongest quality though...

Against Atleti, I'd prefer Masche in midfield. Honestly I think Masche works best as a DM/CB Hybrid dropping back between the centerbacks when defending and moving up during attacks.

His tackling is poor when under pressure. He doesn't understand the concept of restraining from going all in on his tackles and it often sees him get beat. Then there is the heading, where nobody can realistically even try to defend him. Against PSG Bartra had a very important but easily overlooked header in our box that otherwise would have resulted in a PSG chance but had it been Mascherano there it'd have gone clear over his head if he'd have even bothered to try getting it there at all and we'd all be lamenting our poor defense there while somehow overlooking that Mascherano is a large part of why it was so poor.

Pique gets barely tested, when he gets to face 1v1 situation ,hes the worst defender out there in Barcelona.
Pique is technically the most limited Player in our Squad, but hes good in header and positioning.

He's not technically limited at all. He lacks agility, as a result of his height, which makes it hard for him to change direction quickly. See Per Mertesacker for example.

Masche has got to be the most overrated player on the roster.

Dude is a garbage CB and he has shown it in damn near every big game we've played over the past 3 or 4 years. No height and couldn't head the ball if it was passed to his face. Not to mention that while we're talking about getting bullied, Mascherano got shoved aside by a single arm of David Luiz...

Not his fault he's played at cb. He's arguably the best dm in the world though.
