Marc Bartra

Best midfielder around
IF he does somehow manage to put a solid performance against PSG next week, I think he'll get the regular spot and might save us a lot of money in the summer. Will be looking for a back-up CB then instead of spending big bucks on a class A defender. Or am I just dreaming??
I would still want us to buy a class A defender to partner up with Bartra. We all know Pique isn't up for it.

I think he played well yesterday besides the last shot from Matuidi (but it wasn't his fault really)

Knee jerk reaction on her as usual anyways.
He went for the ball for two reason, he and pique are the same type of defenders, so instinctively they will make the same move.
Which is way Marquez and pique was a bucket load of awesome mixed with some proper brain farts and why a hummels like defender will need a lot of time to work should be buy him.

Secondly, they haven't played together enough, to workout who moves for what type of balls, which is the fault of the coaching staff, one think is for sure bartra has the talent to play for us. Needs to buckle up a bit more though .

I can't help myself but to stand in oh on the amount of whining cules can make, Mind boggling to say the least, They've been whining all season about how bartra doesn't get to play over the 'bad' mascherano, And as fate has decided he finally does , So logically speaking the whining should stop right?
It doesn't, Cause apparently they found a new thing to whine about, Now it's all about how this is too sudden for bartra, And how much it's unfair to him...

He's 22. He needs playing time. I'm still of the opinion that he would be much better now if he had received some playing time. He played in the CL at the beginning of the season and he did very well. He has the opportunity to show his true class in the next two games and I agree that he needs to step up. It's never too sudden for a class player.

He's somewhat shaky and hesitant at times so he commits errors, but he isn't as bad as some of you are saying. He isn't great either, but he isn't to blame at all. I'm certain he'll play better once he gets settled with more playing time.

It's funny how people are justifying their criticism of him by saying "he's not a kid, he's 22", as if his age is what makes the difference, and not his experience, that is, the fact that he played only about 150 mins overall this season before the PSG game. His age makes almost no difference if he never plays. An 18 year old with regular playing time will most likely be more convincing than a 22 or 25 year old who plays less than one entire game in 8 months.

Well there were a lot of people in here questioning as to why even Adriano and Song were playing at times at CB over Bartra but watching him recently it's absolutely clear as to why the management chose to go that way . They're willing to try replacements over him which really shows how much faith they have in his abilities. Although it probably made more sense in the long run to try out Bartra.

This is bullshit. Zubi had two options this summer: buy somebody good for defensive cover or make sure the managers trust Bartra enough so he's given enough minutes to become said defensive cover.

He choose option 3: neither.

That is a level of incompetence unheard of in any football club. I haven't got enough words to describe how astonishingly stupid that decision was. I'm not even talking asking for his resignation, I'm talking bringing up charges for criminal negligence. How can you not be as angry about it as me? I really can't get it. It boggles the mind.

Go through the forum carefully. Everybody is as angry about it as you if not more. I myself want Zubi and Rosell(due to his obsession with Neymar) to go.

Then why complain that we whine too much? We aren't whining enough, I say!

Ignore these complainers. Some of them are the same people who defend the incompetence of Alexis despite him getting so many chances while at the same time writing off Bartra after he played only 150 minutes these season.
