Marco Verratti

imo Khedira is still better than Pjanic so it kinda includes that he's also beating Rakitic there aswell. Guy is an undoubted starter at Juventus and the german nationalteam, keeping a fit Gündogan and Goretzka on the bench. He did the Casemiro-role at Madrid, before Madrid realized they need a guy doing the Casemiro role. Any midfield he was in was functional, which indicates that he's doing a fantastic job as a whole.
Busquets obviously is the best of all them, but both pairings are imo comparable.

Apples and Oranges.

Pjanic cannot do what Khedira does. Rakitic can to a certain degree. Rakitic's best performances in his career have been as an AM/B2B, almost like a CAM at times like in Sevilla. Neither Pjanic or Khedira plays that position, and unfortunately for Rakitic he will never either in Barca.

Pjanic's style of play and skillset is the most suited to Barca out of all three if we start focusing more on the midfield instead of bypassing it or using a part of it as a workhorse. However Pjanic is also someone who disappears in bigger games which have been his biggest point of criticism throughout his career.

We were smashed by the PSG and Juventus. We beat PSG with little bit of luck and miracle, and then WE DIDN'T EVEN SCORE A GOAL IN 2 MATCHES AGAINST JUVE. And we were close to winning CL, OMG

We were 1 goal away from winning the league? What the fuck does that mean? There are 38 fixtures, and we failed to win in by 3 points. Not by one goal ffs.

Those defeats were in part to Luchos tactics as well though.

Playing Mathieu in a back three was a disaster against Juve for example and in those games a lot of individuals did not perform. Messi was awful away to PSG, Neymar was awful away to Juve and Suarez was shit in almost all of those games.

Better tactics, line ups and performances from individuals would go a long way with current squad but still need to try and improve midfield and RB to give best chance.

Read an article saying Real want Verratti but not going public on it as to keep up better relations with PSG but if it looks like PSG are willing to let him go they will go in all guns blazing to sign him.

Cant find it again now so no idea of source.

FFS the 1 goal that lost us the league was scored by Real Madrid due to Lucho subbing in Arda in the final minutes of the clasico and him fucking up. The losses vs PSG and Juventus were all on Lucho's tactics and rotating players in a crucial champions league game but you seem way too retarded to accept that fact since you keep ignoring it all the time.

PSG previously stated that they are not willing to sell any of their players to Barcelona so if Verratti really tries to force his way out of the club, they could very well sell him to Real just to piss us off. On the other hand Verratti seems to really like Barca and doubt he would sign for Real Madrid.

If we win that game against Real you can't just assume we'd pick up the exact same amount of points that we did after we drew against them. Domino effect is real.

Also what's with all the ad-hominem attacks you've been throwing out lately, simmer down, this is just a game...

Agree with you but mathieu wasn't terrible in that match imo as one would have expected him to be.

Yeah, 38 fixtures and we didn't won the league because of Arda. Can RM fans argued that if Marcelo made faul on Roberto, it would be 6 points ahead of us? That's just stupid logic. We lost the league against Alaves, Malaga and Deportivo. And you're going to tell me that Lucho is only to blame for that?

Cant assume everything goes the same in league if Barca beat Real in that home game.

Even the Bernanbeu game could well have been much different if league was tighter at that point.

Real came out in that game looking to try and attack Barca, make a statement and win the league as even if lost still favourites. They ended up playing an open game where Messi destroyed them with the space he was given.

Too simplistic to look back on individual actions during individual games to say it won or lost the league.

i have said earlier,if verratti leaves psg it will be for madrid,we can't afford him

well duh. It was Lucho and his rotations that lost us most of those games. You cant rotate over 5 players in an away game and then play with 2 attacking midfielders and Gomes as a defending mid. No wonder we lost points on easy games like that.

There's nothing wrong with our players but Lucho and the way he used them. Real might have won the CL and the league but they didn't beat us even once and we were much better than them.

Anyway, our last summer signings are not as bad as people make them look.

They are awesome for 3rd-6th place in La liga and for a CL group stage or 1/8 level, and for Uefa league.
Something like a level of Roma, Leverkusen, Everton, Nice etc.
