I'm not setting myself up for disappointment when we don't sign him but I sure am loving the saga. He really would be perfect for our midfield but at the same time for 100 million would you guys rather have Seri/Semedo?

Not even nearly possible to get those players for Neymars price and dont need to sell the best players in the team. Need to buy other players at a top level.

I find it strange that we have 80M to spend but are interested in Bellerin/Semedo,Veratti and Dembele/Douglas Costa. If we sign Veratti,Dembele and Bellerin that would be 200m combined. I suspect info on transfer budget is bullshit, I mean what is 80m in these days? One class player and thats it.

We have 100mil to spend + transfers
We should always expect new loans when it comes to our transfers. Arda, Mathieu and Verma will be loaned out IMO.

Agree. Last year didn't we have a budget of 50 mil and ended up spending 100? Taking money from "this" years transfer budget. Same with the year before that and so on? We are one of the richest clubs in the world. If we wanted to spend 200 mil on the right players I'm sure it would get done.

Transfers are not straight forward, Suarez's deal was paid in many years.
If Verratti really wants to leave PSG, now is the best time to leave. With the recent development in Qatar, he can always argue that he doesn't want to associate with blood money and terrorism sponsor nation. PSG/Qatar don't want anymore negative publicity coming from star player who is not happy at the club. If his agent play it smart, he could be sold for a reasnoble fee.

That would make Verratti the ultimate hypocrite and hurt his brand a lot. And the emir would probably close the door on him until his contract runs out, and make him play with the C team in the meantime.
