It's because of the lame stutter-step which is pretty much unstoppable since the GK has to twitch one way or another. The goalie would have to fake it to save one of those PKs.

Not many better than him out there. I think Rickie Lambert is on 31/31 and Matt Le Tissier had 47/48.
Messi meanwhile has only 44/54.

Messi's stats are much better if you exclude copa del rey, still average though not goat level.
Everyone should do that Balotelli slight pause for a penal, I think best way to stop it is just don't move and then pick a corner and hope you can get it.
Kind of like what Hart tried for England but it was just too hard.

The undisputed don at drawing fouls, penalties. Too bad he missed, Reina stood still, doesn't change the fact that Reina is awful though.

Yeah, I thought Reina had a good game, not just the penalty save either. Wish he would be a little more consistent, but I think people are too quick to write him off even when he does have a good game. Similar to what some non-Barca fans do with Valdes.
