Martin Montoya

The fact is as attacking fullback Alves offers nothing better than Alba. Why would you keep Alves..and not give Montoya the starting spot at RB to bring balance..Alves is not the same he used to be anymore

I still rate Alves much higher than Alba both in attcking and defense. Want to see him light it up with Neymar on the other side of his crosses.

 yes poor kid would be excited to see Barcelona play and suddenly end up hitted by a ball that came from Alves cross

There's more of a chance that he'll hit a small child with his crosses than actually find Neymar.
Alves' crosses are good when we attack dynamically. All his crosses find teammates when he's got enough space and time to cross it. But when we play vs parked buses, yes, his crosses are nothing.

His crosses usually fly out of the stadium, regardless of whether we play "dynamically" or against parked buses. 9/10 times they are completely useless no matter what, maybe once he'll actually get it in the area.

Seriously sorry for the expression but who gives a shit about crosses..besides that every of his crosses are useless.. they are pretty much unneeded,he doesnt have any other idea and just tries to cross with no purpose. We dont have the right players to use crosses

 thats an excuse?A shitty cross that goes right to the defender and just heads it behind and ends up going to Neymar. This has nothing to do with a good cross

Must've been the 1 time out of 10 (even then took a deflection), defending Alves' crossing ability is like defending Barton's disciplinary attitude.

Here are the examples of "dynamic" crosses:
You, guys here hate Alves, though he was just a monster on the peak of his career (08-09, 09-10)

Saying the truth isnt hate, and besides the below average crossing ability, last season talks by itself..Alba has been far better going forward.Alves has zero defensive abilities and always when hes going forward forgets to come back,Alba may not be the best in defending but he has very big speed to cover up,especially counter attacks

He was more accurate before, I'm talking about this past season. I'm pretty sure whatever he did in 09/10 isn't gonna make a difference in how bad he is at crossing now and in the future.
