Martin Odegaard

Best midfielder around
Yup, Zlatan has never been as correct as when he said that Ødegaard's father will only damage his career in the long run and that he should cut him out. I don't think he's ever going to make it if he doesn't become a man ASAP.

Dont understand the negative view on this. Segunda b is hardly the pinnacle of football, surely more regular play time in the top division could be smart, even if its a bottom-tier team?

No,Segunda B is the perfect place for youngsters than him ,it has been so for a very long time the league that all spanish clubs in top 2 tier divisions has its reserve team in it and develop their players at in a very successful way
Martin will be 17 in December ,he still has no business in playing in such demanding league like Liga .it could do actually a lot more damage than good IMO
Nevermind that at his age ,he should really follow what the management tells him

Obviously ,that is just in case the rumors are true .usually most of those are just media ps

I believe that matching at the highest level is important for talented youngsters, and i dont think segunda b is the place for any talents to develop much, but i could be wrong ofc.

i also think that he should have been loaned out in the summer. btw: is he still mostly training with the first team this season?

He is doing very well with Castilla this year ... finally getting his head down & improving ..
just the other week he made a hatrick of assists , i believe loaning him could have backfired due to his age.. with Castilla he is already playing with players 3 years + older than him
He is progressing well under Zidane this year after he gave him the cold shoulder last year ... the old genius has the talent for man management

he isn't going to get much playing time against hungary, is he?

Ofc not, the nt coach has found his team a while back, and its been working decently. You typically dont change much on the nt, club football you are allowed to experiment, you cant really do that on nt.
