Mats Hummels

I don't see how it's disgraceful of Bayern. Hummels is electing to run down his contract, who he goes to is kinda secondary. And even then, it's not even certainly Bayern.

You could be right, but the underlying message is just too damning: Bayern could potentially grab any BVB player, no one is safe.

This could only happen in the Bundesliga right now.

PSG and Juve pretty much have the same pull in their leagues.

On top of that, the rumored transfer fee is only a paltry 30m. Really disappointed in Hummels if true. The least he can do for BVB if he really wants to leave is to extend with BVB so they can sell him for a much higher fee. Still better than having him walk for free next year I suppose.

Bayern. :middlefinger: What goes around comes around.

Does a player ever do that?

Yeah, all the signs look like they point to Bayern. Apparently both them and Dortmund have offered 10 million a year. I know his form has been iffy with a while, but for 30 million, he really is a bargain.

Yeah, 30m for Hummels really is a bargain. The level he can reach when in form is world class in my opinion. I really think it's a shame we never pursued him and Gundogan.

If you can get Hummels for 30m, you'd be stupid to not take this opportunity.
I think also a decisive factor is that Hummels and Boateng look comfortable with each other in the nationalteam, and now you have that partnership even on club level.

If you look at the market, 30 million is nothing for a guy of his level. Players like Laporte and Mustafi will cost almost double that. Finding an outfield player to start for Barca for less than 30 million is a very hard thing to do. And he has at least half a decade left in him.

That said, I think him favoring Bayern is a big part of it. BILD said he has doubts over us.

Flirted with ManU all last summer, now moving to the title rival. What a let down this man's been. Never a Captain!
