Mats Hummels

He should have been sent off, he was repeatedly fouling and struggled to cope with Origi's power and pace in particular.

Hummels gave an Interview yesterday, talking about the tough decision he has to make.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7DRJQ2j4IA

"I did set a date to make a decision, but thats just for me and I fear, that its going to be tough to keep that date. We have to see and its a very hard decision for me to make. I think, when I have made that decision and explaining it afterwards, then people will understand, why this decision has been so hard for me. It has cost me half an hour of sleep every night since weeks, cos this topic really gets close to me, but I cannot change it and I have to see, what I wanna do."

Very cryptic interview and it started many discussions about the unthinkable..Hummels considering going back to Bayern.

SportBild didnt hesitate to call his father and agent and he answered:

"Mats has to make a very important decision for his career. Dortmund r back under the top clubs of Europe, thats why this decision is so hard for him. If he leaves Dortmund, then he ll just go to the top 5-6 clubs and Bayern of course belong to this clubs."

The avalanche has started and Dortmund and Bayern forums r glowing.

That rumor is pretty laughable imo. Hummels hates Bayern, it would be comparable to Pique going to Madrid, it's just a clickbait-headline.

I saw that interview on Sky too and it was very cryptic indeed. Then again, it has to be convincing if he is just pushing Dortmund to succumb to his demands.

That said, it seems like just about everyone is looking for center backs. Conceivably all the big teams in England, both Real and Barca, Bayern, maybe Juve. That said, Dortmund would be insane to let both him and Gundogan go in the same window.

He will move to Bayern. 100% guaranteed. Move on. Plus he is not quick enough to partner Pique who is also pretty slow.

Wow, this seems like another gotze situation incoming. At least gotze didn't claim to stay with dortmund for most of his career. I don't blame Mats for wanting to move on but I can't imagine Dortmund fans will take it lightly.
