Bayern doing their usual thing, bullying their rivals with their financial power, digusting club. Lets see if Hummels turn out to be another traitor.

I doubt Pedro only signed that contract to get the cub money.

It suited him to sign a longer term contract presumably on better money and a relatively low clause.

In that situation he has the option to leave there for any decent club comes in for him while he has the option of future years at Barca on improved contract.

Signing that contract suited Pedro and the club.

Well ,obviously the details of why it happened isn't that simple . there is always sort of mutual benefit
But it happened many times that a player sign a contract and then sold .always the one who pays for that is the buying club but he still get the player he wants . Pedro was another example .and in all fairness he didn't decide to leave till the end

I have been saying for a few years now that Bundesliga top teams need an anti Bayern clause, whatever happens dont sell directly to Bayern. It weakens your position greatly.
What they should do now with Hummels is what they should have done with Lewandowski. Sell to a foreign club, renew or let him play ball boy for a year.
Its a combination of an inferior mindset and lack of ambition why they continue to bend over for Bayern. Same goes for all bundesliga clubs.

What we are heading towards is Ligue 1 type domination in every league but the epl, in 10 years all top 6 leagues will be draft competitions for mighty rich epl where 1 team reigns supreme over the rest due to money difference.
Players going 50+ a season will be common and unimpressive due to it being outside epl.
It will all become very boring and continue till we get a european superleague that might excist next to the epl or with it eventually.
I hope we will be able to keep up post Messi era, I can easily see us fall off with the way the board is managed(especially financially) and end up in a Dortmund like positon (without selling directly to Real).

Wow, it must suck to be a team in germany.
All other teams are just BMs bitches.
As soon as they get any good players and challanges BM, they just buy their best players.
Its the same in other leagues ofcourse but atleast theres more than 1 team that can do it.

I dont see the problem. The alternative to going to Bayern is of course that they leave Bundesliga, not that they stay in their current team, and Bayern would then just buy someone else like Mustafi or whatever.

Consider me shocked if Real isn't going for him. He's 27 which is the best age for a defender, experienced yet not too old. He has at least 4 years on prime level. Since he's already slow he could play until 33/34 on a good enough level. He's German which is the strongest country atm and he's handsome as hell. He's a Galactico no matter how you look at him.
