What i dont understand is why alena has a place in this team? He is beyond bad he wasnt even good enough for betis.

If puig is not good enough ok but why the fuck is alena here. Is he the next bob ?

Why do we keep players who are not even good enough for midtable teams? He is not even good enough as a squad player.

Because it wouldn’t be a normal week at Barcelona without hearing a decision from the board or a coach that makes you think what the fuck?!

(🌕) Koeman will explain the situation of Riqui Puig after today?s match. From the player's environment they are disappointed, and from the club they say that it is not entirely true that they want him to leave. @xlemus #Transfers 🇪🇸⏳

Koeman's decision is an emotional blow for Riqui Puig, who was told he'll have a first team number this season. [@Alfremartinezz]

(🌕) There are many doubts at Barcelona involving Riqui Puig. Not only aspects related to football, but other aspects too. @moillorens #Transfers 🚨🇪🇸⚠️

It's done

Bolded is the only thing that would make sense, but we didn't even hear a rumour of bad behavior by him?

Dembele had bad behaviour at the begining of his stint here, Vidal is a known trouble maker, Neymar used to party and skip important matches like they were the 5 a side Sunday match with friends.

Would be surprised to hear that it was because of behaviour.

Reasonable explanation. Problem is that 4-2-3-1 won't work here. Two midfielders with very weak fullbacks and Messi as a #10 or on the wing with weak wingers like Dembele? Laughable idea.

I like 4-2-3-1, we finally will have balanced attack with wingers, instead of BS that was Griezmann-Messi-Suarez trio. And it'll be harder to contain Messi with this formation because he'll have more passing options instead of always going left and passing to Alba.

Let's not forget that Alena was on loan last season and has come back to Koeman favouring him. Puig can do the same next year with the new manager.

If Koeman sees Alena more fitting to the role and can get the best out of him, then it can be good for us long term. Even if it frustrating to see Puig right now not wanted, and me not particularly rating Alena right now.

It's absolutely his prerogative to chose the squad he wants, but you know that feeling everything will end up badly for many years in Barca? This is one of that feeling.

Puig not in plans while amigos still there sums up a lot of what is wrong but this is not going to damage Barca for years to come.

Folk are going massively overboard and acting like Barca have released a prime Iniesta.

No, I don't think Puig would give us titles single handedly but a feeling when a certain decision is forecast on how someone is thinking, basically Koeman out in couple of months, angry fans and so on...

I think the problem is that Puig has been the one shimmer of something different in the midfield in recent times but he’s out the door. It also doesn’t help that Koemans reputation at some clubs is absolutely zilch when it comes to building squads. He’s been very hit and miss. I guess if a guy like Klopp comes in with his track record you support it but Koeman has not really done anything for people to particularly trust him.

Discarding a La Masia graduate and local lad probably doesn’t help his cause. I expect to be honest he’s probably surprised at how much backlash this is receiving too.

Koeman will be there a year and Puig may well end up out on loan.

We will see if there is a clamour from decent/big clubs for his signature as should be if this is such a huge decision on ability.

Out on loan suits Puig better than benched if ignoring the make up of Barca squad.

Didn't people want 4-2-3-1? It was clear Puig was gonna suffer when you increase the forwards in the starting line-up from 3 to 4.

His spot was basically replaced by an attacker. Probably Trincao by the looks of it.

For me, it's not because Puig is like a prime Iniesta.

It's more due to the fact that Puig, so far, looked better in the double pivot than Alena and Busi imo and Puig's already the one to be discarded before those two.

Why not give him a chance this season and see how it goes?

Bullshitquet and Alanice before Puig

Koeman another dumb fuk cunt who thinks it knows something the rest the world does not?

8-2 Barca

8-0 Schalk

Because the double pivot is made with phsycally strong players usually. Most teams who play 4231 have 2 players who are solid phsyically in that position.
