Memphis Depay

Which makes it an even bigger disaster. And lets not forget we got rekt by the likes of Dzeko, Florenzi, Schick and other nobodies all while our team was stacked and with a 3 goal difference from start.

Disasters like that are on the players.

Simple as that, you don't need Pep to get through those ties lol

Are we really still doing this?? Blaming the easiest person (Dembele literally came in at 89 or 90 minutes) and didn't even play any minute in the 4 - 0 thrashing. We were so bad mentally that Liverpool would've scored 5 if they needed to. Funny how people tend to blame Dembele when we gave up a 3 - 0 lead.

No, I don't blame Dembmele at all. Just combating the claim that depay is not a "cl level player" by using a simple example that he could have been.

That's the biggest bullshit. Regardless of the Dembele blame, game would have changed at Annfield if we would have scored. See the tie vs Bayern when we had MSN. Bayern was all over us at Munchen but we were easily in control by scoring when needed.

Of course Dembele is to blame in that situation, but he is not the reason Barca skipped 90 minutes at Anfield. Extreme complacency only equal to PSG's approach in the dying minutes of the 6-1 triumph.

Meanwhile, in this graphic we see how much more danger (xThreat, the new super-metric for analytics) Memphis' passes create compared to the rest of the team (data from the 1st game vs Sociedad):

Ridiculous on Griezmann.

As said, this graph shows more clearly the poor threat posed by the other players. I don't think you rate Alba, Braithwaite, Eric, Busquets or Pique but these are the people (with FdJ) who pose more of a threat than for example Pedri or Griezmann, according to this stat (while playing much more securely than Depay I reckon)

Put Giovanni dos Santos in and have him believe he is the one to do it, and he could've easily have 0,746 as well. The question should be: should Barcelona be a team who lets itself be dependant on Meme-piss Depay in order to create? He is the sort of player who plays forcefully and with a very high error percentage, and it's no surprise he will be high in these lists. Tell Pedri or Coutinho to play like Depay and they would do it better.

Assisted the first, scored the 2nd against Turkey after 16 minutes lol
His finishing coming from half-left the field reminds me of Henry and Neymar when they played for Barca.

Shows you how much of a nonsense expensive transfers can be. Two of the best buys in recent years is a freebie from Lyon and a 16 year old lad from Las Palmas.

This Barca move has really invigorated him, he’s moving up another level.
