Great job, Bartomeu.

Financial hole is so big that we can't sign 25mil player without previously selling

Could of used that 50m spent since January on Trincao, Braithwaite and Gustavo Maia.

On the other hand, that would take us half way to Lautaro...

Transfer fee is not a problem, we could easily buy Memphis and his cost would be only around 5m yearly.

But we need to free up some wages before signing new players.

We actually need depay from what I'm watching cause we clearly don't have any decent lw apart from maybe Fati. Dembele is on and off on the lw.

Not a striker, not a winger, and not even world class like Griezmann and Coutinho were at their previous clubs. What a waste of funds when we clearly have more urgent areas to fill than adding yet another second striker to the line-up. Club has no sporting project, no vision, and no idea how to build squads. Won't be wasting my time with this season.

His movement is good and he can finish but ultimately he’s not Barca level. Very strange signing

tbf, what is Barca level these days?

I think he'll end up another flop as everything still has to run through Messi, as always. will probably end up playing him on the wing

Ye not good to many players for the center position, best attacking player in the Dutch team by a mile but thats not saying much cus we are dire in attack.

Incredibly wasteful in attack tries to shoot as soon as he gets the ball and only ever really good when hes the main man in the attack as he has proven in Manchester aswell as in the Dutch team when he was bad when Robben and van Persie
were still around.

Can't play winger either hes basicall Griezmann just less good lol. Odd signing considering the backs you still got.

We won the continental treble 5 years ago. We wont La Liga twice in a row within the last 3 years. We're still an elite team. Just because we're in a down-period doesn't mean we have to settle for mediocre talents.

If there aren't any proper talents this season we should have saved the funds, write this season off, and wait for proper talents for the positions we need next year. There are talented midfielders all over, talented enough to rejuvenate the midfield and make us world class again. Wingers are a bit more of a tricky option, but there is a proven goalscorer in Haaland with a release clause next year.

There's a path to get back to the top again, it just requires patience and foresight, but instead we waste obscene amounts of money on shortsighted transfers like Depay, Griezmann, and Coutinho.

At least he has the necessary strength to play in the center in stark contrast to Griezmann (and Messi). All things considered by far the best option on the market.
