If we weren't in the shitter finances wise I would be OK with this transfer but we aren't and we already have many forwards, yet can't say the same for the mid and defence. I feel like the 25m could be better spent elsewhere or kept in the bank for the next seasons. We need world class players in several positions, not squad options. Squad options will be available every transfer window, it's not like the Depays of the world will vanish.

Busquets is done, Alena is average and should be sold and Coutinho and Messi are not mids, let's be real. Starting level mids are De Jong, Pjanic and Puig at this point. Pedri is too young to be relied upon and I would loan him out anyway. Pjanic has been straight cheeks the last years in Juventus, let's see how he does before pencilling him as a solution. I would keep the money and put the money towards buying the likes of Camavinga, Haaland, Upamecano, some LB, RB, next year. that's what we need, not another forward this year that may end up just as another squad player. As if we need squad players when the majority of our current players are fecking squad level players anyway.

I changed my mind. Should not buy him unless Umtiti is included in the deal. He is not a winger anymore, and we really cannot afford to add yet another player that does not fit our team/ needs the team to be set in a particular way. We already have Coutinho, Griezmann, and Messi.

We have got plenty of players to get rid of, adding another one is not a wise decision, I do not think.

Oh I was thinking more in terms of fullbacks (my bad), but yeah as long as we don't overpay for Garcia, I think it's a good deal if we get him this summer or the next.
