Arsenal usually start the season good then fade as the season goes. That shows their squad is not as good as their manager think. An Ozil will not change that routine much.

Except last year when it was completely the other way round...

Now that Arsenal have signed Ozil (not officially confirmed though) they have a great chance of winning the PL this season. Rumours suggests that Arsenal also might buy Di Maria. Just Imagine Ozil, Wilshere and Di Maria in the midfield. The Trio will be deadly.

Signing Ozil doesn't gain them anything beyond what they have now. They still need a reliable scorer aside Giroud.

Di Maria might be wearing the beautiful red shirt by midnight.
With Ozil and Di Maria in the midfield, you can wait for a striker if not Giroud can take care of that like he drowned the spuds yesterday afternoon.

One signing in Ozil and Arsenal will be title challengers?

He's a very good player, but inconsistent, Arsenal have still not solved their issues from the last few seasons. Top 4 fight for them.

Chelsea's trio is superior, Walcott is not near the level of the rest.

Ill be delighted if this goes through. If they would just sell Di Maria too that would be bye bye 6 yard tap ins for Cristiano. Plus it seems like pretty much all of the set pieces headed in by CR, Varane Ramos and company were whipped in by Mesut.

I think if he is unhappy let him leave. But of course, the consequences of him leaving wont be good for RM. Well at least he gets to enjoy his time with Lukas and Mertesacker... or "live his dream" in old Trafford?.. Hoping to see how his fate ends. Positively, I hope.
