He'll play some games with Senegal in the coming days but otherwise he'll be one of the few CB's available at the start of pre-season. He'll have plenty of chances as starter while Araujo, Kounde, Cubarsi are away with their NTs.

I like that news. Looking forward seeing him play

Also looking forward to seeing him play, but if we decide to let him stay in B after pre-season he should move on loan or we sell.

I hope he's here pre season and he gets chances. There's talk about selling him with buy back clause. I think he's good enough to keep and instead we make a big sale with one of the more established costs.

Should sell him next year and try to sign Andrea Natali from Bayer. He looks great.
Tell me one component of the game in which Andrea Natali is superior to Faye.

I'll tell you 10 in which Faye is superior to Andrea Natali.

Also, you guys are forgetting the fact that Faye is a left-footed defender. And good left-footed central defenders are a very scarce commodity.

15M for him is more than fair.
He is bad in the air and mistake prone with positional problems, today he also showed weakness against high press.
Unless he becomes a LB I am not sure he has what it takes to develop as Barca first team CB within next couple of years.

He is so bad. Sell for 1.3m and no buy back/first option clause. Sell!!

I think he is great but he obviously needs some work. The team had a ton of systematic issues today, and indeed last week. You can't for example persist to play the ball out from the goalkeeper with short passes to lure your opposition out, when the team is losing on aggregate (sort of) thus meaning the opposition have no reason to fail their press.

I do agree though that his route to the first team today is through the fullback spot.

If it's FB he's not gonna make it here.

People said the same thing about balde, so are saying about Faye now.

He's a CB and a top prospect and that's where he'll make it.

He isn't though
Guys like Yoro, Cubarsi and Hato are top CB prospects, Faye is far behind the pack.
This season he was neither the top CB prospect in Barca (Cubarsi) nor the best one (Mbacke) and while fairly young he has significant killer holes in his game.
The thing is, the path for a first team within a club like Barca is brutal, so while I am not ruling out him making it to top level, I am questioning how quick he can do it here. When you are already in a big club the clock is ticking.
Sort like Todibo with us or even more glaring examples of Salah or KDB who went to Chelsea too soon.
