Is Garcia so shit we can't put him for 10m to any random team in la Liga and keep the kid with the much higher potential.

What's Garcia gonna do, get out ran and muscled AGAIN my any half decent player he faces.

The fact that France has this beast of a man up front and didn't target Garcia, tells us all we need to know about Henry as a manager.
Halleluja mate. Garcia ain't good enough and never will be. Just sell him already.. otherwise he becomes new Lenglet or Umtiti hanging around forever.

Very different from those Lenglet or Umtiti.

Not on the same money to try and move on and was better last season than likes of a 34 yr old Inigo.

Also no amortised costs.

Garcia at 4th option on 5m a season or so is not even nearly as bad as having Umtiti and Lenglet in squad or trying to sell.

He will be much easier to move on and not such a drag if they decide he can stay.

Obviously not comparable in money sense, but quality wise they are. Just get rid of them. Sell them while you can, otherwise they get stuck and cost us.

Thats the point.. wont be stuck with in same way or cost as much.

Umtiti could not run and on huge salary... Garcia could easily be better value on books than likes of Inigo.

Garcia will not be the same noose at all.. much easier to move if required.

He is a pub player dancing around like a clown. We should stop promoting La Masia players that don't take physicality seriously in key positions.
You can't be a wimp at Barcelona if Barcelona considers themselves a top 3 team every year.
This absolute madness should end.
Cruyff was humiliated, Pep lost many times, VV and Setien were humiliated for this very reason. We featured pub players not athletes.

Football is also a sport so you need to be fast, and if not possible at least strong. It doesn't help me if you are Busquets and you are pushed asside by a less talented player.
....about the best post on this topic so far.....different view...an objective and unemotional one.

Inter Milan have shown serious interest in the defender, according to 'Sky Italia', although the operation would be about a loan with an obligatory purchase option. There are many clubs that want him on loan and Barça are running out of time to secure the sale.

If a sale does happen, it is unlikely that Barça will be left with an option to buy the player back, despite the fact that there are very good reports about the player. The problem is that there is no room for it at a sporting level or even in terms of salary cap.

@jamrock

Yeah.

Eric
Lenglet
Inigo
Araujo (out until New Year probably)

there is clearly no room at a sporting level for him

The absolutely crazy idea would have been to play him this season as one of defenders in rotation and watch his value go up.

Tell Eric he has no place and place him on the market after a decent season at Girona and now Olympic winner.

Then next summer either have Faye as a starter selling Araujo, or have Araujo and potentially sell Faye for 20m+ as he is now a proof of concept in top tier football.

But that's too radical a concept for us. Plus Laporta has bigger priorities, like a yoghurt in the fridge which expired yesterday and needs to be eaten.
