Munir El Haddadi

Probably not. But then we can play Messi centrally and Rafinha on the right.

All I'm saying is; if we can't find a decent striker better not make panic buys.

This, we can use Messi as false 9 if Suarez got injured , or even playing 4.4.2 Neymar would fit in that system as well. ( El Clasico match for instance )

I really don't like the idea of changing the system just because a player is missing. The optimal solution would be to replace the missing player with someone of the same mould. Yes, you'd lose some quality, but it would still be preferable to changing the system, as I see it.

I don't think that way, Imagine Munir had played instead Roberto that El Clasico match ( 4.3.3 as always ) the result wouldn't have been shiny or even come into victory, btw i think a decent coach should be able to manage different plans in various ways when you have got to miss some of your players , but also im not saying this would be permanent either and like , changing system over and over again through out a season , but at least it would be more 'wiser' against big teams or when it comes to decisive moments.

Good point.
Single positional changes in accordance to the opponent is great (Roberto helped swamping the midfield in our favor, as far as I recall), but I'm just not a huge fan changing the system all together because of one of our own players is missing. Continuity and all that jazz...

A couple of Barcelona’s younger players, meanwhile, put on a short seminar on how to defuse loaded questions from mischievous English journalists. The 20-year-old forward Munir El Haddadi was asked: “Who is the real Special One, José Mourinho or Pep Guardiola?” and replied: “Luis Enrique.”

I like this.

Well, the way Robert is talking, Munir certainly cannot hope to have the role of #4 forward this season. I could see him going out on loan on August 31, after the new forward joins, and when Neymar is about ready to get back into the team.

Lucho has a great faith in him, he will find a way to play Munir.

When we get our backup 9, it would really be a shame to keep Munir. He'd benefit much more from a season of regular starts at a lesser LL side. I doubt Sociedad is the right choice, though, seeing he won't bench Agirretxe.

Eusobio might actually be a good coach for Munir, though. His performances with Juvenil A and Eusobio's Barca B was the season that made Lucho basically half-promote him the following season. The question would be though, how willing to play Munir would Eusobio be?
